Its a beautiful lake and park. We tried fishing. I wish there wasn't so much moss in the lake. It was a good time though. 🙂

Mossy fishing has been slow other than small blue gills . The park is clean and well kept up.

Pros: Cute lake, lots of opportunities to catch and release frogs with the kids. Seemed very clean and quaint. Cons: Paid and set up and camp but tore down and went back to Omaha before nightfall - it was not peaceful at all. For us it was way too many people in a small area and lots of loud partying - just not our cup of tea.

Large are for tent camping, spaces are not marked, drop your tent anywhere. Be aware of the area light. I prefer a little darker space for sleeping. The bugs are horrible, I have camped here twice, first time was worse. The trail is un-maintained. It isn't long enough to bother with. Decent shower, flush toilets. Pretty lake, I'm sure it is good fishing. Quiet spot.

Fun park! The campground is separate from the swim beach. They are connected by a short road up a hill. The Swim Beach is really cute, small, lots of shade and nice big trees and is a good hundred yards from the parking lot. There are toilets at the swim Beach they are nice but they are vault toilets. There is a tiny dock to launch kayaks but no larger boats allowed. The campground area is really nice, tons of shade, lots of play structures. There is a picnic shelter which is all enclosed with screens. The bathrooms are flush toilets and there are showers.
