We stayed almost a year through this last insane winter. My family were safe enough to ignore the occasional jake bellows from the trucks on 25. We were made to feel welcome and overall it was easy to feel good about being there. Can’t beat it. Easy 10/10 experience, do recommend.

We were fortunate that it was dry while we stayed at this campground, however most of the amenities were not open while we were there. Also, many of the sites are not level which was a challenge. Would not recommend for large units as the roads are narrow and tight.

No amenities are opened during winter. No restrooms, no showers, no hot tubs, no WiFi. Do not recommend if you come after September. Office only opens for 1 hour from 8am to 9am. Way too many trees, it’s hard for long trailers. The map looks like the camping site is so big, but it’s actually all next to each other, not big at all! we missed 2 turns because the road is literally next to each other. Will never stayed here again.

DO NOT COME DURING WINTER! Again. Do NOT come during winter! NO RESTROOMS. NO SHOWER. NO WI-FI. ALL AMENITIES ARE CLOSED FOR THE REASON. You paid $65 per night for only electricity hookup. The office only opens 8am to 9am. You read it right. Only 1 hour but still nothing is open!!!! People~~Read the reviews before coming!! The site is actually very small, but they made it look big. Everything is next to each other, way too many trees and super narrow paths for RV!!!! We couldn’t wait and had to check out at 8am to GTHO.

The pool and hot tub were very nice but only open if it’s over 60 degrees. It was closed one day of our 7 day stay in June. No wood fires here. Many sites back up to either the interstate or a residential neighborhood and they overcharge to reserve a specific spot. Interestingly, the longer we stayed the more we liked it here. You can hear the highway everywhere on the property. The staff were not as friendly as other reviews would have you believe, though one did offer to run our trash with his golf cart. They stare awkwardly while you’re browsing the general store and they’re huge sticklers for the rules. Parked too close to the road late at night and had a note on our truck early around 8am. My wife and son were in the hot tub with no one else in the pool area and an employee came and scolded her pretty harshly. We’ve been other places where the staff were lenient enough to see the grey area. If there’s no one else at the pool, it’s ok to let one quiet kid enjoy time with his mom and give your guest the benefit of the doubt that they know the kid should hop out if people show up to use the hot tub. Obviously not rating low because we couldn’t break the rules with impunity, just offering a warning to others.
