We do a conference at thw Convention Center but stay here away from downtown Portland. It's fairly quiet except for the occasional airplane overhead and maybe someone's dog. Not terribly fancy immedities but are fine during our stay. We've come back now 3 times

Large, clean, safe RV park. Lots of long termers but a quiet and well kept community. Facilities well maintained, level sites. About 20 min from downtown Portland. Nothing much to see in the immediate vicinity. Friendly staff.

The Columbia River RV park is large with 198 spots, of which most are long term renters. The RV park sits at the West end of Portland International Airport with a lot of early morning takeoffs. The on-line reservation system was easy to use and we booked over a month in advance. The staff was very friendly at check in. The restrooms and showers were clean. The lawns had not been cared for in weeks. The stay was ok, but we would have stayed somewhere else had we known about the airport traffic over head

We stay here every year for just a few days during the IndyCar Race. Its about 5 Min to the racetrack easy drive from this park. RV park has two dog runs we use that are well kept and nice enough. People that work here are nice and helpful. RV spots are fine nothing real fancy just a good spot. Cons - most of the park is filled with people that live there but that's typical of most of these places. It would be nice if the kept one large section for people that are coming and going

Work really well for our Portland adventure. We had plenty of space in the pull through. The sewer line is at the end of the space instead of center. Grass in between spaces. No picnic tables. Laundry and showers available. Dog park was hard to find and didn't like that the one for our half was outside of rvpark across the street. Otherwise quiet and next to airport and river.

Looks like a nice place. If I had an rv I’d consider it.

Beware of this rv park. There is no gate or security guard and more than likely you will have something stolen from your campsite. I had a fuel can stolen from me and the guy next to me had his generator stolen. You will hear gun shots. I heard at least 3 separate occasions. And in the picture that syringe was by my campsite with kids riding there bikes.

Visiting a friend. The place is clean and is surrounded by a wall/ fence. Feels safe!

This is the best RV park ever! Meticulously maintained, lovely landscaping, well-lit and very safe. A wonderful place to stay for short or long-term.

UPDATE! 8/27/2020 - Back to a strong 5 stars! Things just cost more everywhere! What you can’t get everywhere is top notch management. This place has it! Very effective communication, friendly and trustworthy reps. Been living full time here since the Covid-19 started. Which, BTW, was well handled by the staff. Always feel safe. Planes are pretty much gone for now. Great neighbors. Live is good. One of my all-time favorite PNW RV parks. Great location, excellent staff. Very clean well maintained restrooms and laundry facility. Rates are comparable to better than other area parks. Centrally located near PDX airport but not in landing path, quite evenings. Highly recommended! UPDATE 8/2017: Pricing, at all levels, went up. Priced me out of the park. On top of “no Kid park/playground” makes me reevaluate my review and stars. From a 5 to a 3 for reasons as noted.
