Awesome spot with, far out from the city and no neighbors! This company( scenic canyons) commonly sells the trees at their spots so it is recently treed. Fly fishing only at the lake BUT,you can have campfires well into the burn ban because there is a camp host and it's an improved campground. So it's well worth the 30bucks 2 have a campfire, weather permitting. Not sure what these people are talking about but there aren't any properties near there besides old logging roads. No weird neighbors creeping on campers. I wish they were more specific with their very odd comments.

I drove up during the winter. It's a nice little isolated spot. Very peaceful.

They cut back tons of trees. No boat launch. Swimming and access to the lake is great. Somewhat expensive. All new gravel, benches, etc. There are no flat spots for tents yet; bring a metal rake if you want to do that! Sites are pretty close together. It will take a few years before the tree canopy is back and there’s more shade, but that means less bugs than other campgrounds nearby. Still looks like there is stuff in progress so I remain hopeful!

Don't go here.. there are crazy ppl who live near by and creep on campers at night..

Small campground that fills up but worth the drive. Its down a long narrow dirt road with a nice cold clean lake at the end. Bug spray of course is a good idea.

Great location approximately 8 miles back in the forest. Very quite location and the lake is a non motorized so its very peaceful. Great hiking trails with great views

Long rough road leading into this camp which keeps it uncrowded and quiet! Very peaceful high lake (for the area). Sites are old, so quite small for rv's. Overhanging branches are a hazard and trailers longer than about 30' will have difficulty navigating.
