I fear reviewing this hide-a-way gem, for if I do it will be over run, and I won't be able to find my spot to reserve 😕 Here goes! I have been coming to CCC for years, came, with my kids, now with my grandkids. I absolutely love this place. Granted the highway noise has gotten louder and busier over the years, but it still hasn't detracted from the coziness of the site we choose each and every time. The activities CCC provides covers every one from all ages, from the playground, the zip line, the arcade, the pool, hot tub, the lake with dock, a fully fenced dog park, wifi!! (not that I think that's needed when trying to get away from it all lol) I will admit as a disabled person I do appreciate the accessible washrooms, hot showers, (though my one request/suggestions would be a grab bar in the accessible stalls and possibility 1 shower stall) I even love having the laundry available to us! So handy with kids! The staff! Phenomenal! Each and every one of them have their charm and special unique touch that makes this place just work! Case in point; I forgot my shower chair one time, one of the girls showed up at our site, with one of the chairs from the pool deck for me to use while I was staying on site. Above and beyond! I could go on, but this would become a novel. Oh, also speaking of the washrooms, the Lady who cleans them, not only helpful, friendly but wow does she make those washrooms shine, despite the gravel, sand, dirt etc that gets drag through them she is always smiling and making sparkle when she is done with them. I guess what I am saying GREAT job CCC!!! this is why I keep coming back over and over again. Now hopefully this little gem remains my little secret despite my review 😁

Good location, sites are a good size. Park could use some maitnance (ie seams on meri-go-round have come loose leaving one handle to no longer be attached) but my kids enjoyed the zip line. Lots of people seemed to enjoy the "lake", but it does have a bit of a smell. Kids favorite thing was seeing all the frogs. Pool was great just wish it opened earlier as my kids were ready to go by 9 or 10am. Downfall was that we paid for electric but couldn't run anything on electric. Anytime we tried the breaker would pop. Several sites were on the same breaker. Washroom was cleaned periodically, and grounds were kept clean and tidy.

We love our group campsites staff is super friendly and helpful! It's a great family oriented campgeound. All of the kids (three 15 year olds and one 10 year old, plus our visitors that have a toddler with them love it. We will definitely be back.

Mediocre campground / RV park, ok pool, things to do in the park and nice lake, but that's it. Very noisy (highway nearby) and kids riot on the playground (next to our site) every night with zero response from staff or parents. Rude and disrespectful kids screaming and swearing till 10 pm (playground closed at dusk). They managed to break the carousel, so the park staff hurried up to fix it during dinner time, by a couple of hours of welding and grinding next to our picnic table to make it ready for the next night's riot.

We absolutely loved our stay at Coombs Country Campground! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They really go the extra mile to make sure you feel at home. One of the biggest highlights for us (and especially for our dog Daisy!) was the fully enclosed off-leash dog park ~ finally, a campground that truly includes your furry family members in the experience. Daisy had the best time running free and safely playing while we relaxed. It meant the world to us to see her so happy. We were so impressed with everything ~ clean sites, peaceful setting, and thoughtful touches ~ that we’ve already booked a monthly stay for 2026. We can’t wait to come back and make more memories. Highly recommended for people and their four legged family ❤️🐾❤️
