The park has short beautiful hikes and really great views of the lake.

We love this park. The trail system is awesome and it's great for when we want to kayak too. The staff is always friendly and we've mapped out the sites we prefer to stay at, so setting up is usually a breeze. There are a couple of wineries close by, Edge of the Lake and 5 Fifty Five, or plenty of other things if you prefer. It's also a great park if you don't want to go anywhere.

Went camping here in March 2025. The campsite had a nice firepit, a decent picnic table, concrete drive, electricity and running water. The woods were nice to explore. The restrooms and showers were pretty clean. Fishing was good as well. My campsite was about 150 steps from the water. Be sure to bring your own firewood :) We did. I will be coming back!

What an amazing stay we had. Peaceful. Quiet. Great hiking trails. The absolute friendliest staff I have ever met. The bathrooms are spotless and heated. Showers with hot water. The lake is beautiful. Saw some ?wild? Horses. The ranger shooshed them back to the woods. Never saw that in Ohio, lol. Spaces are great. We did a pull through but most back in spots are good as well. A few have a high lip or small drop, so watch your stabilizer jacks. We will be back next year!

Very quiet and peaceful. Very clean campground. Park workers are very friendly. The trails are nice with a few cut off points down to the water. The deer are all over in the morning hours. Be aware of the racoons though. They are not shy and will raid your camp and make their own entrance into your tent lol. I recommend a gallon of vinegar poured around your tent to keep them at bay. Seemed to work quite well. Definitely enjoyed my week out there.
