5 minute walk to the beach, which is not crowded. The on-site restroom and shower facilities were clean. Space 11 was pretty flat, so our trailer was easy to level. Full hookup site, everything worked great (did not use the available cable TV). Wifi was down during our visit, but we try to stay away from the internet when on vacation. The whole facility is a little run down, but the staff are super nice and its a beautiful, quiet location. The store at the end of the road is well stocked with essential items, and ocean shores is only a few minutes away! Visited again, site 52. Also pretty flat. Renovations are actively in progress, so expect this place to be pretty nice in the future.

CAMPSITE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION! Thank goodness we decided to swing by early to check out the campsite. We were staying at Pacific Beach State Park up the road for a few days and decided to swing by and see what Coppalis looked like. The pics on Google are over 10 years old. They are abandoned and dilapidated. There are zero facilities. They have yet to bury the HUGE septic tanks that are sitting on the ground. The manager is on site. He's doing his best to remodel the place. There's no way to contact the park itself before showing up. The number kicks you to a sister RV park that has no way of contacting the park themselves. 🙄 Fortunately we were within the cancellation window. I called and was told I had to email. However I got no response and finally got a hold of someone who was able to process the cancellation. The woman asked me why I was cancelling and when I explained the situation, she told me that she explains to people there is no sewage hook ups when they call to book. The problem is 1) we booked online and there's ZERO info about how bad this place is and 2) "no sewage hook ups" is like calling a gunshot wound a little scratch. I'm sure it'll be gorgeous one day. But today is not that day. I'd give it zero stars if I could. The only reason it deserves one star is because the manager on site is a champ.

The manager at the location is a friendly helpful guy who is trying to get the place turned around. However he can’t process cancellations. He provided a number for me to call which I did. The lady was short and told me they don’t process cancellations over the phone and I need to email the company. I have sent 2 emails notifying them of the cancelation and requesting a refund within the 72 hour notice policy . No acknowledgement from the company. I’m ready to work with my bank to fight the charges and get my money back. Like I said the gentleman at the site is great the rest of the staff not so much.

Do not rent here yet! So the pictures you see are from 6+ years ago!!! The place has been abandoned and they are trying to get it back up and running, but it is not up and running yet. There were literally a dozen septic systems above ground in some of the lots that they haven't buried yet. Now, we got all of our money back so I didn't get scammed, but it's still crazy that they even allow you to book. If we had been arriving late and had nowhere else to go, it would have been a nightmare. You know those times when the spouse that cares more about nice places is crying and the other spouse is trying to make the most of it. I really wish I had taken a picture because otherwise I think people will think I'm exaggerating. It looked like a haunted house next to a mostly empty construction storage lot. Now, it looked like they had good plans to make it a beautiful place. I can't imagine that happening anytime in the next couple months, but when that happens and I see new updated pictures of this place that look not scary, then I will come back and take down this review.

We had a reservation here for three nights, made a month in advance. We arrived and actually thought we were in the wrong place. The buildings were dilapidated with roofs caving in, weeds and high grass, and only two RVs in the park, including the host's. We had a full hookup site, but the listing had amenities of bathrooms (closed and locked), shower rooms (closed and locked), laundry facilities (none available), recreation center, picnic area, pavilion (not sure where any of those would be - the old picnic tables were stacked up together and locked, the buildings had collapsed roofs and were locked), playground (nope, not anywhere on the grounds). We decided to stay and the caretaker said he would open the bathrooms/showers and turn the water on to them, which was not done during our four day, three night stay. Thankfully, we were fully self contained, so we decided to stay and enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many options for a camping at Copalis Beach. This should not be one of them. Stay anywhere else. Our views were of the yet-to-be-buried sewer tanks and we had to check our dogs' feet after every walk because of the stickers covering all of the campsites and along the walkways. The beach is just a short walk away, though you cannot see it from the campground; you can, however, hear the waves. The beach was lovely and peaceful. The campground should be avoided and really needs to be closed until it is renovated. We camped at Copalis Beach Park in a Travel Trailer. I've attached a picture from the website versus reality.
