We ended up here by accident, actually. John was incredibly helpful and friendly. My family& I usually disperse/free form/primitive camp so ending up somewhere with electric, water, Wi-Fi at all sites was uncommon for us. We noticed on the map that there were some cool kid's activities however none of them were available on Saturday. These family friendly activities listed that were unavailable to us were; bounce house, outdoor movie theatre, axe throwing, and swimming pool. Playground is quaint and sufficient for younger children. We camped in our tent. Due to the nature and design of public/community campgrounds we felt exposed however the bathrooms/showers were wonderful and moderately temperature controlled. I would recommend this place for family weekends if you're going to Corbin or near by events for the weekend.

We are just leaving this campground. It is a lovely place. It’s clear that the owners take pride in their service. Bathrooms were very clean. Internet was fast. Staff was pleasant. Out only issue with the trip had nothing to do with the campground. Aside from hiking, there is very little to do in this area in April. We did enjoy a couple days of great hiking but had quite a bit of rain the rest of our time here. The town of Corbin left much to be desired. Not a lot of restaurant options. But if you plan to just be at the campground, this is a great place!

We stayed with all my children and grandchildren, we all had a wonderful time. The campsite we had was great. John, Gary and the whole staff were so helpful and friendly. Very clean bath house and laundry. Kids loved the playground and the short walk to the lake to fish. We will definitely be going back.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Corbin KOA near Laurel Lake! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with outstanding hospitality—John and his team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Their customer service was top-notch, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The campground has clearly seen some wonderful renovations recently. From the beautifully updated landscaping to the fresh, well-maintained amenities in the cabins, everything felt clean, modern, and inviting. You can tell a lot of care and attention to detail went into the upgrades. The location itself is peaceful and scenic—surrounded by natural beauty and just a short drive from the lake. We had so much fun relaxing, exploring, and just enjoying the outdoors. This place is a perfect mix of comfort and nature. We’re already planning our return trip. If you’re looking for a great place to camp with fantastic staff, upgraded cabins, and gorgeous surroundings, this KOA is the place.

Stayed in the Lodge at Corbin Lake KOA for a week. It was clean, quiet and comfortable with updated bathroom facilities, new TV, a kitchenette supplied with everyday needs, new and clean bedding, and games. More games available in the office and a little store with fun items to purchase too! The newly remodeled laundry room was easily accessible and didn’t require quarters! Owner had thoughtfully decorated for Christmas making the Lodge that much more enjoyable. 10+ KOA location! Owners and staff friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely be back and without hesitation stay in the Lodge at the Corbin KOA! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

All gravel roads and pads so it was dusty. Stayed in 5th wheel for 1 night so we didn't unhook - our site was not level at all and maneuvering through campground was a bit tricky. Staff was friendly and location was convenient. Very close to highway so there's road noise and we could hear trains in the area also.

The manager was very friendly and helpful, the front desk staff were nice other than that I’m at a loss. Visited my sister this place was in total disarray. You can tell there’s entirely too much focus on packing guests in vs fixing things that have been put off. This older facility could use major updates. Avoid at any cost.

Nice little campground, much better than most koa campgrounds. Office and maintenance are EXCEPTIONAL. We couldn't figure out cable TV, maintenance came down and figured it out, on Sunday evening and happy to do it.

WONDERFUL campground! Misty, the Camper Hostess went above and beyond to be helpful!! We were stuck there in a record breaking snow storm. Someone had run over a hydrant, so the water was off temporarily. Misty got a hose from her camper, and helped us get water. The owner was also GREAT! They let us stay free the 2nd night, due to the snowstorm! We could not have found nicer people! Campground is nice also. Nice pool...if it wasn't frozen! Nice, clean shower houses. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND!!! Nice patios and include furniture!

I have never given a bad review to anyone before. But when it’s time. It’s time. Me and my boyfriend stayed there for 2 months. At first it was amazing. I even got a job with them to work the front desk am doing do scheduling and reservations for campers. The job didn’t work out. I ended up cleaning bathrooms so I decided not to work there. After that we stayed maybe 2 weeks. Our tent and camper was robbed. Everything I had was taken. I immediately went to the office and spoke with directly with the staff. Which was Lisa. I was ignored. Nothing was done. Not another word was said about it. Then one week later we was asked to leave by staff. Practically escorted out. I won’t get into everything that was done and said to us. I will say this. The owners at the time was extremely nice. Things would have been different if they’ve were not so blinded by the staff... KOA is a nice little place for families to camp. If the right employees was on the staff I would give This place an B+..... I would have given this review in July when all this took place but I had to take time to really think about it and make sure I was doing the right thing. We are nice people who needed a place to put our tent and camper while we found a place to live because of all the horrible thing happening in this world right now. I give my praises to Jan. The owner at that time. As for the staff. Some people does not belong behind a desk greeting people. The experience hasn’t left a scar in my life.
