We visited the lake in late October and it was quite crowded many people were fishing and we're doing their thing but quite a few people were using the campground as a free playground a bunch of kids were running all around going into other people's camps and cause of distractions and Noise A group of people from a church group arrived late on Friday and made a LOT of noise until they went to sleep When they woke up, they made a fire, then almost immediately all walked away for fishing and left their fire on attended At that point we left the lake, too much chaos at the campground We've been visiting the lake for decades and it's definitely being more crowded than it has in the past

Clay keeps one clean campground! The bathrooms are probably the cleanest in Arizona! Great place to hang out with your family or your significant other. Rules say "no" generators after 10:00, very common. Most peeps are cool and follow that but be prepared for those that don't. Dont let my review take away the fact that Clay and the lake are awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The camp hosts keep the place spotless. We were there mid week at the end of April and had our pick of campsites. We were told the previous weekend there was a fishing derby and the campsite was full and quite "social".

Probably one of the best campsites I’ve been to. Host was great. Very quiet, but lots of generators during dinner time since there are no power hookups. If you want star gazing, go here!

Campsite is very clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean and well kept highly recommended. I would recommend getting there early as it does fill up. Cost is $20 for overnight stay on campground. They have BBQ pit/Fire pit. (Bring something to clean the grill with) & picnic table. Some spots have excellent shade & close to restrooms. Trash cans are all around too.

Quiet but pretty full in the rv trailer loop. It's first come first serve, checkout at noon. Pit toilets, picnic tables, grill/fire pit, bear proof trash receptacles. Only 10hp motors allowed on lake. Store being open is a guessing game. Nice trail around the lake with some steep and eroded areas. Tent loop was pretty empty. Some are park in lot and walk in others park alongside.

This Lake was very serene. At night you can hear your neighbors but for the most part everyone is quiet after 10:00. You have a short downhill hike to get to the lake from your camp spot. There are areas that are rocky as well as beachfront like shoreline. They have canoes and paddle boats to rent as well as fishing poles. The little country store has just about everything you could possibly need. The water was fine and there were plenty of fish. The only negative is that there are no public showers or electricity. So bring your camp shower; most definitely a heater or extra blankets during the cold months.

Parker Canyon Lake is our favorite go to place, to get away from it all!! So peaceful and quiet specially during the weekdays! Although the forecast called for heavy rain, God granted us with only a few showers! It was such an amazing time. The water was excellent for swimming and kayaking!!

Was great years ago but no longer feels safe for my kids or family.

My son and I had a really nice weekend camping here. There are both pull-through spots and back-in spots for your trailer or RV

It has great views. Camp sites are tight for 5th wheel campers.
