If you are wanting a quiet and peaceful settting with many a mile game traiil to hike, shoreline to explore, this is definately the place. Weekend breakfast and lunch in the cafe is just the right touch to cap a wonderful weekend enjoyment. P.S. the sunrises and sunsets are to die 4

Went here for the day to check out the lake and it was well worth the visit. I rented a Kayak and the service was excellent and everyone was super friendly. If you're into scuba or free diving, I highly recommend using this marina as a base camp because it is not crowded, in a fairly central location on the lake, and the staff is super helpful. Also helps that the water is the clearest of the 8 Arizona lakes that I've been to, 9 if you include Lake Mead, so perfect for diving. Clear water, limited crowds, and helpful staff make for a fun day at Lake Mohave.

Summer 2021 I visited this area with my best friend and baby. It’s a few summers ago but since they’re planning renovations I hope they update their signs and inform their guests. When I visited the lake we were made to move away from the right corner of the lake and building because “it is reserved for resort guests” however we weren’t on the patio, nor the grass, nor bbq areas. We were on the lake. A public lake. Unless the law allows it, don’t privatize the lake and sand. Don’t get bullied by management to make others comfortable while in public.

It's been awhile since we been here annnnnd it looks the same. The main difference? The campground needs some extreme TLC. The parking lot is looking a little rough too. But anywho, if you want some fun in the sun at a place that's not so crowded. This could be the spot for you. We went there around 930am, to get our spot, it was quiet. But around 11-noon, it started to fill up real fast! The water is water, not the bluest, but not the darkest. It has a decent amount of beach sand as well. Overall, I would go again if someone wants to go, but not by choice.

Had a blast, but the place is a bit run down. However, Ryan at the marina is the hardest working dockhand I’ve ever met! Worth every penny. Cafe hours are LIMITED and can force you back up to Searchlight for food. Boats are a bit worn, but no issue with either sun chaser OR the jet ski we rented. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, just be prepared to WAIT until 4:00 check-in.

Grounds aren't kept up. Being on the water was the highlight thankful for boats. And family that joined us, made it tolerable.

Room was very loud at night every time the or conditioner came on. No services during the week. Had to go to store to ask for toilet paper and find housekeeping to ask for clean towels and trash bags. Swept own floor with borrowed broom. Outside garbage cans on beachside are not emptied during week and overflow of trash until Thursday. Carts are scarce and rickety. Store closes at 4. Grass in front of rooms is dead. Planters are mainly empty. Patio chairs are very uncomfortable. Not sure what is going on at cottonwood but a big decline is evident.

We stayed at the hotel last week and I gotta say, what a dump! They get a lot of money for the rooms and being lakefront is awesome, however, our room had sand on the floor. (not cleaned I guess from previous guests) there was a large patch on the ceiling and lots of stains on the ceiling. The air in our friends room didn't work well at all. (wouldn't go above 86 degrees) Every single cart, to move your luggage around, was broken, mostly wheels, but handles too. They even made you bag all your linens before you left. They would not give us our room key until 4 pm sharp. (We ask at 3:51pm)

Beautiful place. Although check in is at 4pm which were were aware of. The lady that worked at the store Sat evening didn't have to be rude. We were in line at 3:50pm. A customer asked what we were waiting for? She said to check in and check in is at 4 not 3:59. At 4. We were all waiting patiently. She didn't have to be rude about it. The room looked clean but if you walked barefoot. Your feet turned black and there were spiders and webs everywhere. The cafe closed at 5:00 pm. Which was odd considering that is usually dinner. The store then closed and there was no one around. A family was locked out of there room and was freaking out because everything was closed. I peaked through the store doors and happened to see a lady. She then called for help. This is a beautiful place but just come extra prepared because everything closes early. We paid for 2 days but left a day early.
