Great place for a no reservation full hookups City run facility. Mostly locals getting together, family fun with boats, fishing, camping, etc. We were just passing through and needed a recharge on my battery bank after boon docking for a few days, only $40 with 50 amp hook up.

We have been going to this park for years as a family reunion. We haven’t had issues like the past couple years. This place does not get maintained at all! The bathrooms are messy & nasty, the beach is a dirty. The water dock that was said would be replaced, was taken out and never replaced. One of the boat docking areas has a huge boulder there with a sign that says “closed due to vandalism” there is no vandalism. The dock has just never been maintained, so the easiest thing for them to do is shutting it down and blaming the public. We have voiced our concerns to the local mayor and she does not care one bit. There is no park host but the city guy comes and pretty much harasses people. He is very disrespectful and rude. This park could be a nice park, but only if the city made some changes. It would be sad to let this park go after more than a dozen years of camping.

A Crazy Life

This is just an ok campground with a little "day use"area with a kids play area. Lots of seagulls inhabit the water way pooping all over; the bathroom is so dilapidated and in bad need of fixing, and upkeep, partly unusable. There's even a bird that made a nest in the mens bathroom and its crapping all over the urinal. For d!you use area also; no dogs allowed at the picnic area and no dogs allowed on the beach are= not dog friendly

Nice little camp sight. Pros: cheap / easy access/ no booking required/ just pay cash on arrival/ open 24/7 Cons: no showers / toilets are only available in the summer and we went mid April so they were closed.
