Stayed at this place for three nights. Place is clean, has a real nice playground, and is close to several area attractions. However, there are several things that did not sit well with us. First, most of the transient sites face each other. This means awning to awning. This is fine if you are camping with other friends. But for those single campers this can be challenging. In our example, the other camper had a dog that was unfriendly towards other dogs. This put both of us in a difficult situation because no one wants a dog fight. Thankfully we worked together and had no incidents. This also causes every conversation to be overheard by the other camper. It's really an odd setup that I have never encountered in 40 plus years of camping. The second concern was when we were leaving and lined up to use the dump station. First, there is only one station. While we were waiting, a worker was on a tractor with a portable dump wagon. He was in front of us and there was a line of campers behind us. When the female manager came out of the camp store and asked us to move forward, I inquired if the worker was going to be dumping their portable tank. I was told "Yes." I said that seems odd seeing there are paying customers waiting to use the dump station. The manager said "Other people had paid to be pumped out." I said that I realize that but it doesn't seem wise to make people wait, especially when there is a line. Now I could understand if the portable tank was full (it was about half as it was see through) and the worker was going to pump out more campers. But this was not the case as the worker emptied the tank, washed it out with a garden hose, and then went and parked the unit on the side of their garage. The worker then mingled around the shop doing absolutely nothing important. The point here is that management did not care at all about their customers waiting in line. I can only guess that they had their money already so they did not care about the customers after their stay? We had planned on sharing this campground with our daughter and her camping friends so they could bring their kids and camp facing each other. But, after realizing that management did not care about their customers, I think it would be in poor taste for us to recommend a place that is disrespectful to their customers. Very poor customer service.

One of the best campgrounds I've ever visited. It's especially great if you've got kids with you -- lots of stuff on site for them to enjoy! Facilities were all immaculately maintained, staff was very friendly, and the homemade maple glazed donuts are worth the price of admission alone. Do yourself a favor a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Overall the grounds are nice. Our site was nice and shaded which helped because the weather was very warm. New playground equipment, pool, store, etc. but the place was full and the bathrooms never got cleaned. I tried both (yes, only two bathrooms in the whole place) for showers and both times I ran out of hot water (25¢ for six mins) and both times I was standing in ankle deep water because they didn’t drain properly. Pool had lots of sand in it. We didn’t go in so I’m not sure if it got cleaned but I doubt it did. There are a few community areas (covered pavilion and fire pit) but no activities planned while we were there. I had a cinnamon roll but didn’t think it was homemade or special. I won’t be back.

Clean and relatively quiet. A well stocked camp store with a small arcade, DVD rentals, and a basic concessions counter. Most sites appear to be seasonal. We found a nice secluded site in the trees for our 5 day stay. It's gated and if you plan to return after the store hours, you'll need to put a $10 deposit on a gate pass. Visitors to your site have to pay entry, although the pool seems accessible... My only complaint is that she showers in our corner were COIN OPERATED which I haven't encountered at any other camp ground. That's not really mentioned anywhere on the website. The lady at the camp store is a bit brisk. Not unfriendly, but doesn't do chit chat or explain the exact way she wants your car pass more than once so pay attention. Lol

It is a nice campground, with a few cabins to rent. Mostly for RV's and tent camping. Nice pool and playground for the kids. Mini store on site. Some parts of the place are a bit dated and need work. But for the most part, great place to spend a weekend. Plenty to do all around the area. Or simple sit and relax.

Great family owned campground. Many seasonal sites in the back half. Plenty of pull through sites near the office for weekenders or folks just traveling through. A very nice shelter available for groups to use for meals or meetings. A

Great family owned, and operated campground in North Western Massachusetts. Well-maintained and plenty of activities here and around the local area. Perfect place in the Berkshires for recreational campers or tenting. Cabins also available. After years of traveling with our family and friends, we are now seasonal camper at Country Aire Campground. My Happy Place!

My family and I have been camping at Country Aire for over 10 years now. We used to camp with our camper, but after giving up our camper, we have been reserving a cabin for the past 3-4 years. We stay 4 nights for Memorial Day weekend, and prior to leaving every year, we book for the following year. We prepay in full and receive a confirmation securing our booking for the following year. Our family and friends camp with us staying on adjacent/nearby sites. On 1/11/25, I received a phone call from Lisa (the owner) telling me that they switched over to a new reservation system and they have a problem with us being booked in the same cabin as another party. I pulled up my confirmation, reviewed it with her, and she told us that we were all set, because we had booked and prepaid before the other party. She mentioned that she was going to call the other party, and they weren't going to be happy, but again, she assured me that we were all set. Today, 1/13/25, I received a call from Lisa, telling me that she had a problem, and that, because of the new reservation system, we were double-booked with another party for the same cabin, and there are no other cabins available. I reminded her of our call a few days prior where she assured me that I was all set, and she would be honoring our reservation. She said that the other party was being "unreasonable," and because they have been customers for 10 years, she was honoring their reservation and not mine. I reminded her that I have been a customer the same amount of time, but she should do the right thing and honor our reservation, because it was made first, and that is what she confirmed to me in the phone call a few days prior. Lisa said she was putting a check in the mail for my refund and honoring the other party's reservation. It's unbelievable to me that this double-booking/reservation snafu is being discovered almost eight months after I booked, prepaid in full and received an email confirmation. I am appalled and deeply frustrated at their handling of this situation. It is just plain wrong. Lisa said she is choosing loyalty over "doing the right thing," but clearly disregarding that my family and I have been equally as loyal for the past 10+ years. I am incredibly sad, because we don't have enough time to book elsewhere for the Memorial Day weekend, which is always in such high demand. Unfortunately, our time at Country Aire has come to an end.

Beautiful location and guests are very nice. Some of the people that work there are also very considerate and thoughtful. It only takes one person to ruin your whole stay however. I am shocked on how much the person at the front desk gets off on making people upset. She snaps at anyone who asks a question. I am not sure if we can stay the entire stay we originally booked because I am so upset. She made us feel so unwelcome. We will never stay here again. I usually do not right any bad reviews. This might be my first. Also good to know: It is dog friendly but not for outside guests staying overnight no matter if you have proper paperwork and follow all rules. This is not stated anywhere in the website. We purposely did not bring our dogs so that our outside guest could and this still did not matter. There was no reasoning with this person at the front desk. Literally makes no sense.

I've been coming here at least once a year since roughly 2014. I absolutely love this place, Art and Lisa are great hosts, attentive to needs, friendly and helpful. Art has helped me out on more than one occasion with my malfunctioning camping equipment, sage advice, and pleasant conversations. The campground itself is beautiful with an excellent playground for the kids and a rocking pool which we have so much fun in. This is a true mom and pop place and they clearly take pride in their campground. My only complaint is that the seasonal list is quite long and I am hoping to get a seasonal within the next year or two as this truly is a peaceful place. Thanks for the memories.
