We recently camped here in our motorhome. We had a a beautiful spot by the river, but it was tricky getting our motorhome level in the spot. Also, when I checked in, I was given a sheet of paper with rules which I signed. Nowhere on the paper did it say they had a burn ban. It did say to extinguish all fires before we leave. A few nights into our stay, we were having a fire. The owner came by and told us we were not supposed to be having a fire, that there was a burn ban, and that her husband "told" me that. Well, her husband and I never had a conversation about that. I went to talk to him about that the next day, and he agreed that we did not have that conversation, that instead it was somebody else he spoke with. He apologized, but she never apologized to me even though she heard part of that conversation. I believe she owed me an apology for accusing me, which is why I gave only two stars to this place"

Awesome experience. First off the value was incredible at $40 a night. So thank you for making a weekend away affordable for the family. Campground was very clean and cared for. We had a tent site that was directly on the Pemi River (most of their tent camping sites seemed to be on the river). One of my gid things with campgrounds is bathrooms. Their bathrooms (toilets & showers) were super clean. Showers had great water pressure and were plenty hot. Small convenience store on site was helpful for wood & ice. Staff/owners were friendly.

I love country bumpkins! Nuff said! My friends and I have been staying at country bumpkins every summer for many years now. The tent sites are great, and we usually overlook the beautiful river right next to the campground. Hot showers, indoor bathrooms, and a dish cleaning station make this an ideal spot for convenient car/RV camping. The camp store is well stocked and has everything you might have forgotten to pack for a camping trip. The campground is quiet and family friendly, with the majority of spots being for RVs and campers. Cheers to Mario and Diane for making Country Bumpkins so great! And remember, "Don't be a-grumpin' You're at Country Bumpkins!" (trademark pending)

Pleasant stay. The stream was beautiful, the 26 foot trailer for glamping was kept up nicely. The campground was very clean as were the facilities. Quiet, yet family friendly. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

This was our first experience owning a camper. The place was small, cozy, and centrally located to everywhere you would want to go, and things to do in the area. The office was adorable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our weekend here! Thank you Country Bumpkins for an unforgettable experience.
