We are full timers and ThousandTrails members and the Encore parks are part of our membership, nice park, friendly staff and residents. Weekly meals at the activity center. Happy Hours and music. Heated pool and the spa works great!!

Booked online and showed up and they "didn't know we were coming." Would not give us the code to get in the park so every time we left we had to call someone at home to get back in. After we had unloaded the weekend person called to inform us that we also owed a $500 dog deposit that no one had mentioned! Then the dog next door began barking at our sliding glass door taunting our dog. Online it said the park model slept 4 and there was a double bed and an extremely uncomfortable futon that was awful to sleep in! They also said there was a deck. There was not. We left on Monday and we were told it's normally as expensive as we paid for the week for only a day! And she was more concerned about that than in how we had been treated. DO NOT BOOK THIS ONLINE! They apparently don't know what is going on there and they were very unfriendly. I will never bother with this place again!

This is one of our favorite thousand Trails RV parks in Southern Texas. It in Weslaco. Very safe, very clean. It is an adult community RV park. They have tons and tons of activities for their permanence but you can also participate if you want. Just a really great place to stay when you want to relax and enjoy the area.

Not very dog friendly! You are not allowed to walk you dogs in this park, they want you to go to their storage area only, it’s not completely fenced in and a lot of people haven’t their dogs leashed. I prefer Llano Grande in Mercedes, 2 big dog parks and you can walk your dog everywhere.

Very clean and well run. The pickle ball courts are great and their shuffleboard courts are kept impeccably clean. We enjoyed the pool area as well as the indoor gaming section. A very large area to meet together as well. Beautiful space.

Friendly people however everything there is scheduled. I'm retired and I don't like to have to schedule my daily life. I did enough of that when I worked. MOST if not all activities surrounded around card games. Some of the other activities scheduled were often "subject to change"...so you plan or SCHEDULE your day and it doesn't happen. I must say they were very understanding when I had to leave the resort for a family emergency.

This is our fifth winter in Country Sunshine RV Resort. Our park is manicured and maintained by a great staff, outstanding of which is Hilario . Hilario greets each of us while making his rounds in the early morning. A few days ago his kindness and dedication to making everyone’s life brighter was once more demonstrated with a smile and a kind spirit. My husband, while helping our friends to renovate the outside of their new park model home, stepped down from a ladder onto a water pipe. And it wasn’t a skinny pipe. With water gushing out over the ground, the water flow was minimized and then off went my husband in search of help. It was the end of the work day, and Hilario, having clocked out was heading home after a full day in the park. My husband caught Hilario’s attention and true to form Hilario stopped and came to his rescue. An hour plus later, the water issue was all repaired and Hilario could once again think of home. Hilario doesn’t seek payment; he doesn’t seek praise. But if others have a need they know they can always seek Hilario. Here's to a great and humble man who makes every day richer because he cares. Thank you Hilario.
