Coyote Rock RV Resort & Marina

Overview

Coyote Rock RV Resort & Marina offers a unique riverside experience nestled along the scenic Siletz River near the Oregon Coast. Unlike standard roadside stops, this park emphasizes a connection to the water and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Visitors often come here to escape the hustle of city life, trading traffic noise for the gentle sounds of the river. It functions as a comprehensive waterfront resort where the focus remains on outdoor recreation and a peaceful atmosphere.

Location & Surroundings

Situated just a few miles from the heart of Lincoln City, the resort provides a secluded atmosphere while remaining close to modern conveniences. The park is positioned on the upper Siletz Bay, surrounded by lush coastal forests and wetlands. This location serves as a gateway to the Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge, offering a serene backdrop for wildlife viewing. Guests can enjoy the best of both worlds: the tranquility of riverfront living and the rugged beauty of the nearby Pacific Ocean beaches.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is well-equipped for modern RVers, offering sites with full hookups and options for 30 or 50-amp service. The standout feature is the on-site private marina, which includes a boat launch and moorage for those bringing their own watercraft. For those without a boat, the resort offers rentals and a well-stocked tackle shop to prepare you for a day on the water. Additional conveniences include clean restroom facilities, laundry rooms, and riverside picnic areas that take advantage of the stunning views.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Fishing is the primary draw here, with the Siletz River being famous for Chinook salmon and steelhead runs. Beyond the river, the attractions of Lincoln City are only minutes away, including the seven miles of sandy beaches and the Chinook Winds Casino. Nature enthusiasts can explore the nearby hiking trails at Cascade Head or go crabbing in the bay. For a change of pace, the local outlet malls and artisan glass-blowing studios provide plenty of entertainment within a short drive.

Who This Park Is Best For

This resort is an ideal match for avid anglers and boating enthusiasts who want direct access to some of Oregon’s best fishing waters. It also appeals to travelers seeking a quiet coastal retreat away from the more crowded beachfront campgrounds. Families who enjoy kayaking, birdwatching, and a slower pace of life will find the atmosphere welcoming. If your travel style involves waking up to river mist and spending your afternoons on a boat, this is the perfect destination.

The elderly lady who runs this spot is horrible, she has no respect for anybody. This was my first year using this boat ramp and the lady who runs the store belittled me, my wife and my son. I liked the location of this spot so I turned my son and 4 other friends onto it and in total we spent a combined $4137.45 there this year, but after the way we were constantly treated we will be taking our business to Chinook Bend for now on. Maybe if the owner brings on a new staff next year we will be back but current staff has pushed us away and all of our and friends business to go up river.

Coyote Rock is a great little camp ground right on the Siletz River! Absolutely amazing view! Shirley and Mark the park host are great people and very accommodating host! Highly recommend, but call early as they get real busy

Beautiful spot to camp and fish on the Siletz River. Just a few miles from Lincoln City and the spectacular Oregon Coast. Shirley, the manager, is super friendly and was willing to accommodate an extra 3 week stay while I got my truck repaired.

Beautiful park on the river! We were traveling down the coast and this place stole our hearts! Coyote Rock Rv & Marina is the real deal! 🥰 friendly staff, beautiful views, minutes from town & the beach, docks, fishing, boats, and even stuff for crabbing! Oh! They have wifi too! They have campsites in the woods, on the river, and by the field near the playground. Treehouse cabins, riverside cabins, and rv sites. There is a basketball hoop, volleyball pit, doggy area, and clean bathrooms (laundry for longer term guests too). We moved here a few years ago after being on a wait list, (you have to go through the hoops and background check but its worth it.) and got into monthly site rental. Its very fair and basic rules, i.e., go slow, watch your kids, no bullying, no raging fires, and respect quiet hours, keep pets on leashes and pick up their poo, pay your rent or any pet or car fees lol super easy basic stuff. The entire time I've been here, I have only seen those who break the rules get talked to, and management was always fair and nice about it. Its part of what makes being here, feel safe and secure. (Everybody has to play by the rules!) We got to be here during the new management swap. We loved the old management, but also love the new management! 🤩 They have been fair, respectful and has done an amazing job cleaning up and keeping things at the park updated and running well. Our kids love it here and so do we! Perfect place for Family, and/or Fishman alike! We look forward to spending the next few years here! 🤩🤩

We have came here prob 15 times over the past few years. We love the location. Apparently there is a new “manager” and she takes her job very seriously. She was rude, threating, very controlling, out of line, and making up fake scenarios to feel important. We at first felt we were being singled out, but 3 completely separate people came over during the weekend and said they had the same interaction with her (2 of the 3 had been to this campground before). Also the out houses were not serviced the entire time we were there and could smell them from our camp site the entire time. Sadly we won’t be going back until she is no longer “in charge”. And sounds like she is scaring away a lot of the other returned customers as well. Hopefully owners see this and can make the appropriate changes.
