Set in the beautiful hills of Wyoming county how could one go wrong??? Let me tell you my opinion. The staff needs some education on how to treat the guests who are paying your wages. Never approach someone without identifying yourself and the first words out of your mouth should never be; I don’t want to kick you out. No idea who this person is talking to me. They said later that it was written on the back of the shirt that they were wearing but didn’t turn around during their conversation. They are in the hospitality business and know nothing about being hospitable. After talking with another camper who was staying in a cabin was greeted with mice invested kitchen and bathroom drawers. The cleaning lady was in so much pain that the lady had to wash every dish in the kitchen and along with us will never go back again. Edit: They charged us nearly $50 after we left without any explanation.

It’s my opinion that the pictures and website are a bit deceptive. It all looks lovely until you try to order from the menu and most items are not available unless it’s the weekend. The “free WiFi” , if you read the fine print is only the campgrounds office WiFi and unless you are right by the office there’s no WiFi available ( which is almost everywhere). The bathrooms/shower areas were very outdated. We very much felt like we were being babysat as “the gastopo ” as we came to refer to them, literally were staff that seem to drive around at least every 5 minutes. It was unsettling to say least and completely took away the feeling that one was camping out in the country. The pool was nice but didn’t open on time on the days I was there. The other campers did seem friendly. None had anything good to say about their experience with the campground. Most thought it was outdated. I heard many complaints regarding the staff and the owners, who seemed more about finding rule violations than seeing to it that people have a good experience. It could be a much nicer place to enjoy if it were updated, if there were planned activities for children, and if the place were as nice as it was advertised to be. This is my opinion and I personally could never recommend this campground. I know I will not go back.

Stayed in a cabin, which was nice. Furniture is small/limited, especial for a larger person. Super cute, family friendly camp ground which also hosted a great firework display & music. Will definitely stay again. Fun Memories Made ✔️

Went camping for the 1st time ever with the family this past weekend. Tent area Beautiful scenario, very spacious, kids had fun at the pool, live music of the 80's and 90's was great. Staff was very friendly, especially the gentleman who would bring you the firewood, check your electric outlets, and made sure we were a ok two thumbs up to you buddy thank you! Heard it was under new management so keep up the good work sir! Overall experience was great I will be returning!

We have stayed here a couple of times now and it’s clear that the new owners are working very hard to make it a great camp ground. Holiday weekends full of family activities including an excellent fireworks show. Everyone in the office and the grounds crew are very friendly. We will be back! Thanks again Mark!

New owners have done some awesome upgrades! The first and most important being the pool! The waters finally blue and the ground isn’t green! Around the pool has new chairs and loungers. Really nice campground !!

The new owners are AMAZING! We had a fantastic week here! We camped in the primitive tent sites beside the creek for a week. The campground itself was very nice and the site we stayed at was right by the water! The bathrooms and showers were clean. There are so many fun things to do there including an arcade, a jumping pillow, a play ground, a pool, and a dog park. Our pup absolutely loved the dog park and being able to swim in the creek. The staff is incredibly friendly and go out of there way to make your stay perfect. You can purchase firewood at the camp store and it is delivered right to your site! The camp store also has tons of different drinks and snacks as well as some really good ice cream! The new owners have big plans to continually improve the campground and their hard work and dedication really shows. If you get the chance, you HAVE to stay here!

Great place to camp. We wanted to be somewhat close to home and just far enough away. The new owners became like family. They treat us very well and are making lots of changes. My 8 year old has a blast and can’t wait to get there for the weekends. The arcade has been upgraded and the kids love it. The bounce pillow is always a hit . Keep in mind that the place was in need of a lot of repairs and upgrades that they have been right on top of them since taking over so be patient. Any ideas I’ve had they have been open to listening to and are planning on more and more upgrades in the coming season. Give them a chance and I assure you that you won’t be disappointed. The staff in the store has always been pleasant and accommodating, they’ve always taken time to talk to my kids and make sure they have fun which goes a long way in my book. I’ve read other reviews on here about the place and a few issues I’ve seen with them , such as people couldn’t find the dumpsters, you literally drive past them on the way into the grounds, a bit of a walk but keep in mind you’re in the woods and there are animals so I don’t mind traveling to throw my trash because I’d rather not have a bear peeking through my windows. And there was complaints about the staff, once again there is new owners as of the beginning of the year so unless you’ve read a review written since January you can dismiss them. Marc and Lisa are working diligently to bring everything up to par and would love to see new faces. Give it a try
