This is one of our better maintained parks from what I can tell. Of course, I havent been to them all in a long time. Anyway, great campground facilities and quiet. Nice place to get away. Just wish we didn't draw our reservoirs down so much. It's fall and the lake is low. Here's hoping for a big snow year!

Absolutely wonderful State Park. The sites are well kept. So many nice trails. Camp Host and Rangers were super friendly and helpful. We had a issue with our Rv on Checkout day , and they were so understanding and got us moved to another site until the repair guy showed up. Love this state park . All sites in Clear Fork have a great view.

The campgrounds are rather large and the facilities are dirty with mud from the lake. The staff did try to keep them clean. The tent sites had no coverage and are on top of a small hill leaving them exposed to wind. The views around the campground are spectacular

We stayed in Clear Fork loop, space #51 in late March. The bath house was still closed for winter but there were 2 vault toilet restrooms, which were clean. The campground was quiet, peaceful, and offered spacious campsites with fire rings. There is a nice hiking/walking trail from the boat ramp near site 51 all the way to the Iron Creek Campground loop with newly constructed foot bridges and a safe pedestrian walkway along the road. Fresh, clean air and stunning scenery. Note: boat inspection and launch is to be done at the Peninsula lot and by site 51 seemed to be for boat loading out of the water. There was no boat ramp activity during our stay. The water was a little low, but it will probably fill the lake soon with spring runoff. The calm water looked ideal for kayaks and canoes. Our 17' camper van looked tiny on the 75' paved RV site, but it was a gem of a location. Dog friendly. Kid friendly with a playground. Highly recommended.

This state park was a fun visit: camping sites, beautiful views of the surrounding mountain vistas, and tucked away, giving the illusion of isolation. The park is all dirt roads, but it's got all the amenities a state park should have, like restrooms, picnic table, etc.

A truly beautiful place. Enjoyed camping. There's a gas station pretty close to it, so if you need anything last minute, you're able to get it along with firewood

Great and relaxing place to stay! Beautiful views and great sites! Only about 20 mins from the Black Canyon North Rim campground.

Pretty place. Loved the drive there! Lots of places to fish. A little dedicated "beach" area for swimming only. Bathrooms were really clean, and had showers! Not much shade at all so day was hot, but nights, and early mornings were nice and cool (July). Some spots have shaded picnic area. Nice big playground for kiddos. Lots of clean wide trails to walk on. Pretty quiet place. Dogs allowed, just not on beach area. If camping, keep in mind day pass also required for all the days you're there. We ventured into town for some delicious ice cream!
