We have been looking for a place to relax, let go, and get some peace of mind away from the grind of working. Mark, who runs the place, is there for his campers needs without being a bother. The cabins are indeed rustic, but remember...this is country, not a five star motel! For the first time in my life, I watched a beautiful Orb Spider spin a web. Never done that before; Nice. The place is clean, the bathroom and campgrounds are very clean and despite previous reviews I read...the air conditioner works great. We will return to the oasis 13 miles from our home again. And the lake is steadily rising so enjoy some fishing too. Thank you Mark for a great Labor Day weekend.

Awesome quiet relaxing place with a great view of the lake and sky at night! Been twice once in cabin and then in tent. Will be back more times guaranteed!

A great get a way. The rooms were so refreshing to come in on a hot day. Great for family gatherings. Loved it.

This place is the best yall! We had so much fun! Caught 4 fish and at night we made a bonfire and grilled burgers. The cabins are perfect and are very affordable. The owner , Mark, is a good man and is very accommodating. Thank you!

Mark the owner is a wonderful host! The place is exactly was it says it is, nice, cozy, secluded, and clean. My family found this place on a spur of the moment need for a getaway, and we love this place - even my 6 year old daughter. Prime example, we just got back from Disney World, and we love this place even more! It's our get away without getting to far away! We would definitely recommend to any and everyone, but selfishly not really, just to keep it our secret! Thank you Creek Harbor! Venny Trevino and Family

This place is really cool but whoever is responsible for maintenance does not care. The cabins are in a nice semi wooded setting on the banks of the lake and it is very peaceful and charming. However, there are wasp nests in the eves, and the weeds are over 6' high and full of biting insects. The showers were dirty and had bugs all over the floor. Get rid of the weeds, wasps, and replace the rotting boards on the foot bridge and renew the bar and stage area, and it'd be a much better place. I hope the owners read this and start taking better care of the place.

Love this place! We always have fun here. They have cabins with a bed and ac unit for an affordable price. Who doesnt love a real camping feeling but with ac to sleep in?! The owner is extremely nice and always available to help out. He watches regularly to keep everyone safe but he still let's people have their space and enjoy their time there. They have picnic tables outside of your cabin and a fire pit as well. So you can sit around a fire and still enjoy the water. The view at sunset is beautiful. Definitely plan on taking a trip here soon!

So this place was a last resort for us considering I tried to find a place to camp on Labor Day weekend. We had a great time. But we tried to fish, and I probably lost about 10 or 12 hooks in the over grown bushes. Those needed to be tended to badly. My daughter and I were covered in Chiggers the next day, but that comes with camping. I got the only site with a tree, but won't be going for that next time... i came home literally with a suitcase load of huge ants and they invaded my vehicle as well. No fun trying to get rid of those little ass holes. But it was really nice at night. The guy that runs it, Mark i think, was a cool cat. He sold all the things we needed. So it is a cool place to go but I wouldn't go as far as calling it a fishing camp.
