Excellent Campground! Plenty of room to to pull in and out of the sites. About half of the sites are right on the creek. Pretty much all sites have good shade. Bathrooms and showers are all cleaned daily. There's even a nice elevated porch to take in the views or get some work done from the comfy couches. You can walk to the town of Edinburg from here and it's a short drive to all the other things this part of Virginia has to offer.

This is a very affordable campground. My campsite 24 was extremely small and my water supply leaked the entire stay. I was backed up to the creek which was nice. I just didn't like stepping out my door onto the camper next door. You will see in the photos. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They seem to be updating the office and restrooms, and it looks nice. The restrooms were clean. They have great spots by the creek for tent camping. Very easy walk into town. There is a lot to do in the area and this is in a great location for a campground. I do recommend camping here if you are looking for a inexpensive place to park.

If you like wineries and breweries this is a good place to stay. It's also next to Stony Creek. Peaceful and quiet. There was never anyone at the office. However, someone always answer the phone. The bathhouse was clean. The sites are mostly dirt and grass. Our site had a big puddle of water in front of it. Sites are pretty close together.

Creekside Campground is a quiet, peaceful little spot that was perfect for a relaxing stay. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was super friendly and welcoming. One of our favorite parts? The adorable ducks and ducklings that wandered around the grounds and even took little naps nearby — such a sweet touch of nature! The campground is on the smaller side, so if you have a larger RV or camper, just be aware that maneuvering can be a bit tight due to some large trees throughout the park. Also, it can get a little muddy in places after rain, so plan footwear accordingly. All in all, a charming and calm place to stay — we’d definitely recommend it!

Agree with previous comments--don't follow Google maps or GPS directions. Take Palmyra Church Rd off of Route 11. Road is better & more navigable if you have a bigger RV (ours is 30'). Go slow around the curves, locals often "grand-prix" them at posted speed or higher and the one just before the campground is a blind curve. Upon entering the campground, you'll see that the road splits. Enter on the left-hand side facing the campground and stop at the office to check in. Stony Creek runs at the edge of the campground which can be a lovely setting. Across the creek and high up on the bank in plain view are some dilapidated buildings which detract from otherwise pretty scenery but that's not the campground's fault. We stayed at Creekside for a month in April, 2025. We had 30 amp service. The power blinked off and on a couple times a day when the campground got full (usually on weekends) but luckily none of our electronics were compromised. Hosts were friendly and helpful. We had a good experience and would stay again.
