Nestled amidst towering pines with breathtaking views of fall colors, the location is truly unbeatable. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained. The team at the campground was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. Their passion for service added to the charm of the place. The night sky was clear for stargazing, and the tranquility was rejuvenating. We stayed in a couples cabin. It’s my favorite KOA so far!

We just had our second stay here and it absolutely still earns 5 stars across the board! The staff is amazing and the campground is immaculate. The bathrooms, even on busy Labor Day weekend, were so clean and well stocked. The store has everything you could need and they are quick to help in any way they can. They even have a cute little welcome bag for furry guests! We cannot wait to return.

Great spot if you’re looking for Camping 101 aka little cabins or tent sites with water/electricity, a sink with water and soap to wash dishes, a breakfast cabin that serves $4 pancakes in the morning, and even option to have pizza delivered to your tent site. Not as great if you actually want to have an “outdoor” camping experience - you can hear cars at night. It was a great first experience overall for us and our 9 mo old in terms of convenience, but just felt like camping for dummies.

Don't hesitate, just stay here! 1st time staying at an rv/cabin/tent camp and I have to say it was pretty great! I made reservations on the way and luckily they had 1 preferred lot left. We definitely wanted all the hook ups for our RV. The woman in the office was incredibly nice and very informative and the lot was perfect, all the hook ups, table, grill and fireplace. Talk about views! Amazing! It was very quiet also. Everyone seemed very respectful. I can't say what the showers and bathrooms were like as we didn't use them but they had a cute store with some necessities and snacks. You can also order pizza between certain times if you don't feel like cooking. All in all I had a wonderful stay with my husband and 2 small dogs.

This was my first visit to the area and at this KOA! If I could give 10 Stars, I would. The Staff (especially Ruby) was so friendly and helpful!! It was spotless! Loved the pizza that was available in the evenings! They even deliver! I especially liked that it was not a mega sized KOA. It was quiet in the evenings. Just big enough to offer amenities like WiFi and cell service, clean restrooms, shower and an adequate general store.

I would give 15 stars if I could...starting with the owners and ending with the views everything is PERFECT!

Always a fan of KOA, but this one was especially impressive to us. It is family owned and operated, and it is evident in the upkeep that the family is proud of their business. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate, they were even installing a screen door on it when we checked in, perfect for cool mountain breezes! The campground also has a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen which was a fun experience in itself. I think our kids' favorite however were the pedal carts available for rent. Lastly, keep an eye out on the way up! There are wildlife in the surrounding woods, we saw half a dozen mountain sheep on the way in! 100% intend to return!

Stay here every year. Well laid out and maintained.

What a beautiful place to camp! We did tent camping in the more primitive camp sites. The sites are pretty secluded and offered a nice view. It is up pretty high, so definitely cooler at night, so plan accordingly. The campground hosts were super helpful and friendly. The grounds and facilities were clean. Hiking up there was so beautiful and at higher altitudes it works your heart! We will definitely go back.

Great place away from main roads with a beautiful night sky and quite peaceful.
