Really good place to stay and had a lot of fun the only downside was i got chased by a homeless lady with a weapon and got very scared and screamed for helpgood thing the security here was on point and helped out the situation. Kayaks were also fun tho and caught 2 fish.

Such a fun place to bring young kids! We stayed in the “under the sea” cabin by the pool, and it was a good night’s sleep. The AC units in the living room and bedroom kept it cool, the kitchen had a clean fridge and freezer for snacks. We came on a summer weekday and it was quiet, with the little swimming area being a big hit with our kids; it was on the shallower side, so they could play freely, and it was clean and well maintained. Nice playground, mini golf area, and a splash pad with a fenced pool. We had a child get sick the day we were supposed to check in, and they were very kind to let us move to an open date a few weeks forward. Thanks for the stay!

The marina and resort area on the lake are very nice and the lake and swimming area is beautiful. The young man at the ice cream shop was very sweet and professional. However, the location of the cabin was way in the back with monthly renters. Some which were sketchy and made us feel uncomfortable and uneasy. Lots of junk around many of the RV sites and our cabin was too near the trash bins. The flies were unbearable. We were unable to sit outside and eat and we had to close our cabin door quickly or it would be inundated with flies. Also, the small pool was so cloudy we couldn’t see the bottom so we didn’t use it and when we checked in we asked for a clean sheet to replace the dirty sheet found on the trundle bed and the lady’s response made us feel like we were putting them out. I would suggest to the owners to either make it a marina and RV destination resort or rent it to monthly renters but not both.

Let me tell you about this place. The RV sites are clean and no goat head stickers! It’s our first time here We’ve been here since Monday and love it. It’s clean and the owners are really friendly! They have a boat ramp, a pool, a little swimming beach, a putt putt, play ground, pavilion, and a general store with hot pizza and cold ice cream! No boat? Theres a little dock you can fish off of with the kiddos! Don’t sleep on this place! We will be back! Crockett Lakefront Rv Resort & Marina

I take the youth of my church here to camp, we love it here. A wonderful lake for fishing and kayaking. Awesome pool that few people seem to use. Restrooms that run hot showers. All around awesome place to visit. This was our second year going. They have updating a few things and it looks like they are updating more

Had a great time. Rented paddle boats at a good price. Great fishing. Store for forgotten items. Already have reservations for memorial weekend.

This is the best hidden gem, myself and all the gals of The Sweet Life enjoyed our Christmas event so very much. Gals shared with me this was the best email ever. This is my time camping here and it just keeps getting better and better each time. Staff are outstanding they go the extra mile to make us comfortable. We will be coming back several times a year and was just this place for everyone. Definitely 10 Stars...

Beautiful place to take your RV or to rent a cabin to spend a little "down" time. Wooded and level RV spaces and cabins are O.K. also. Plenty of shade, swimming pool, kiddie splash pad, putt-putt golf, and the beautiful Lake Houston to swim, kayak, or fish while there. Staff is super "friendly and accommodating to your needs. Store on site and also small restaurant. Less than 12 miles to Crockett, Texas.

Cost, people and employees, just didn't like it.
