this place is so incredibly racist. my family and i were "banned for life" in a horribly escalated situation that absolutely did not need to happen. the manager is a bully, a racist, he refused to give us our money back (25$ while every other lake was free). he called the police on me alone, a young black female as he YELLED in my face about outrageous accusations of "speeding", telling me to leave while i was waiting for my family to arrive for my birthday party and i never got to spend a single minute in the park before this manager and those racist police officers ganged up on me and my family.

Tried this place out after going to Indian Creek for 7 years. Very poor! Super messy. No grills. Bathroom was is 1/4 mile from the public beach which was tiny and full of people and others driving around blaring music in their cars and not at all peaceful. Misbehaving kids starting fights at the beach and near the bathrooms too. Plus we had to pay $5 per person instead of $5 a car at the other place that is so much nicer. No thanks !

The only thing bad was that the shower was out of order. I hope they fix the small things that are wrong. It's a very nice place.

We like the campground. But beware that the roads getting there are bad. We have stayed there several times and had good experiences. On our resent trip we did have issues. First the 50 amp plug was installed upside down which gave issues with our EMS. They promptly came and fixed it when we asked. But our main issue was when we came back late one night and they had changed the gate code without letting us know. Thankfully our son in law knew someone to call and was able to get the new code for us. Hopefully person who changed the code without making campers aware will not do that again!

We LOVE crooked creek. We just recently went on our annual family camping trip there and had so much fun. There's a loading dock for you to bring your boats or jetskis. There's a few playgrounds, but some of them have broken equipment. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest, but HEY, THEY HAVE WORKING BATHROOMS! The beach is a nice size, and I noticed they've been keeping it very well taken care of and being cleaned daily. Highly recommend this place!
