This was an excellent campground! We had a large campsite for our RV with several pine trees for shade. A large space between campsites made it feel more private. The drive and site were crushed rock and it was neatly raked when we arrived. The hosts took good care of this park. It was somewhat expensive since we didn’t have a Georgia parks pass. We may get one for future use! We saw a gopher tortoise crossing the site next to us!

Gorgeous scenery. Large camping sites. There are hiking and biking trails. As for fishing you need to have a vessel to get you on the water as there is only one bank to fish from. The tortoises are here and a lot faster than one would think.

This coastal state park offers a refreshing escape with its beautiful natural scenery. The diverse trails are perfect for leisurely strolls or invigorating hikes. Visitors can enjoy camping under the stars or rent a cozy cabin nestled among the trees. The park also boasts excellent fishing spots along the river and provides opportunities for wildlife viewing. It truly is a cherished destination for creating lasting memories. I've been visiting since I was a kid. I love how peaceful it is.

It was my first time going to a state park in Georgia. I moved from the panhandle of Florida and was raised living in six state parks in Florida. I was very pleased at how well Crooked River was maintained and the cleanliness of the facilities and grounds. Going on a weekday, I found it peaceful and relaxing. Took several trials and had a picnic lunch while there. Will try other parks as time allows. Thanks to the folks at the park for a pleasant visit!

This state park is beautiful. Everywhere we went inside the park appeared to be well maintained. Several trails, picnic areas, open areas and water/fishing access. I ended up renting a cabin within the park, which is a cool feature. Now when we got to the cabin, they expressed to us that these cabins are to be kept clean, organized, etc. I got excited at first, thinking that the cabin would be very nice and we'll maintained. Despite the binder reinforcing everything right inside the door, this place was very dirty. Dust piled up in corners, cobb webs everywhere, the fridge was gross, etc, it made for a not so nice stay. Thumbs up for the park, two thumbs down for the cabins.
