Gravel road going in and out of this campground is a safety hazard. I wouldn't stay here again even if it was free! Definitely a lesson learned! Read ALL the previous reviews! Even the "good" reviews complain about the road. I stopped counting at 25 of people who complained about the road. Obviously the owner doesn't care enough to fix it which explains alot about them.

The Gravel road to the place sucks. The people working there were great. The owner was a really nice Guy. Cabin's are simple, but well taken care of. Clean. We stay there again just not on a Motorcycle lol

Lovely little family owned and family friendly campground. Appreciated the enforced quiet hours. Could not believe the hospitality felt when checking in and getting settled into our site. Peaceful and quiet. Parents, kids and dogs alike enjoyed the weekend.

Great off-the-beaten -path campground with incredible hosts. Pride of ownership shows throughout the property. The private lake is stocked with fish. Paddle and row boats are available to rent. Laundry and bath/shower house were clean. Owners Steve and Shelly as well as the camp host Kelley are extremely friendly and attentive to guests needs. Others have mentioned the rough road into the campground however we were here for three weeks and saw rigs of all size come and go without any issues.

Outside of the road leading you to it, this place is amazing. The road is rough, steep gravel. These guys direct you into your spot, takes all the trouble out of blind side backing. Wonderful family atmosphere with plenty of camp hosts to help you out if needed. The pond is loaded with bass, its down in a valley low enough that the lack of wind makes top water fishing a blast. Admittedly, the water is a little mossy and they could use a couple grass carp. My adult children came over for dinner one night, when I told the office of this I was expecting to be charged a fee for the extra vehicle and extra people fishing, it was free since it was family. They even offered to take our trash for us while we were packing up on Sunday. This place is simple, but impressive. We are going back fathers day weekend.

A HIDDEN GEM. We’ve been staying at campgrounds all over USA for over 20 years so I have a lot to compare to this campground. WE LOVED IT!!!! Cross creek is family owned and charming. The sites are spacious and tree lined. It is not on the main road, which is great because it is quiet and peaceful. It is quite a large property. My kids roamed throughout the property on bikes, explored the creek, crossed a walking bridge Over the lake to Duck Island, played minigolf, fished, walked small trails, roasted marshmallows, and generally had the best time. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. You can tell that they love their place and take pride in it. If you are staying in this area, don’t look any further. We would definitely return!
