Love this place. Nice wide sites, quiet, easy n and out, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, waterfalls, creeks, eateries, larger cities, hiking trails, attentive park hosts, firewood and fire rings available, off the beaten path of SOCO Rd. Very laid back and welcoming area. We’ve been here many times in the last few years.

Well, settling in after a long weekend at Cross Creek RV Park. I must say that we were a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. With that being said, what a great place to stay. From the arrival until we left, could not have been ANY better. The arrival crew was very friendly and helpful getting us parked. (We had four 43-45 ft coach’s). The owner could not have been anymore accommodating or professional. The sites were absolutely beautiful. I’m not one for leaving reviews, good or bad; but felt lead to leave one. We will DEFINITELY be back. Thanks so much Cross Creek RV Park, keep up the good work!!

Pretty much right in the heart of Maggie Valley beautiful view. Great location !extremely quiet park, adult only . well maintained good pavilion for gathering. Washing available. Dog friendly and large dog area to play. No pool . RV lots are pretty tight not alot of privacy at all. Very reasonable rates!

This campground is in nice location and is very shady! However there are very narrow gravel lots for campers, the staff will meet you to tell you exactly how to back into gravel slot. Took us 5 pull ups and backups over grass that was wet from the rainstorm. However had I been allowed to park our camper I could have got it in on first attempt by pulling into gravel space directly in front of our slot. Then we were told to not park on grass, especially when wet! Considering that there is only space for one vehicle parked crossways in front of your camper. When 2 campers are in place with their vehicles parked correctly then this only leaves space for one vehicle to pass through the road for those camping spaces. I can understand if it is raining and the guy that helped us park said it was very important to stay off the grass especially when it rains. But then I had to turn around to pick up another friend who was sick in their camper , 2 campers down, I had to go to Cross road at end of street to turn around, I clipped the corner strip of grass perhaps 2 feet while I turned around. By the time I got back to the camper, there was Karen-unfriendly/angry camp guard who had ran down to inform me that I had drove over the grass and that the owner would kick us out for driving on the grass. Then this morning the grass control staff came down and moved our camping rug over onto gravel and off the grass. The man came over to our friends camper to state 'y'all know why I am here- you can't have your camping rug on the grass because you are killing it'. Nevermind that he was carrying a weed eater as the were murdering (mowing) the grass! Unbelievable!! Never again will we be camping here!!

Nice and clean, good space, nice folks, well maintained. $250/week, 50amp fhu. The Maggie valley was gorgeous! Neighbors had 2 yappers but that could be anywhere. We really liked it. We've been all across the USA.

We canceled sometime back due to surgery. I called today to cancel due to an unforeseen quarantine. The owner was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with when camping. Did he want me to come and put his people at risk for COVID? He rudely said that $50 IS MINE!!! I will never ever stay there and highly recommend people check reviews before they do. He yelled at me! I wish I could rate a zero! People be ware!!! Please read all the reviews!! They’re all about his rudeness to people. I’m just letting my camping friends know!! Sir you need to take a chill pill. No to mention, not once did he say, hope you feel better. It was all about the money.

If I could give Cross Creek and its owners 10 stars I would. The park is well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s just the right spot to enjoy Maggie Valley. They like you to call about 10 minutes prior to arrival so they can meet you on their golf cart to take you to your site. What really blew us away is the amazing support we got from the owner Debbie when our motorcycle broke down in Cashiers, NC which is about and hour and twenty minutes from the park. Cashiers is a very small town with limited services. We were able to get a tow truck to take the motorcycle back to our RV, but had no way to get ourselves back to the park. No Uber, Lift, taxi, limo service, nothing and we tried everything. As a long shot I called Cross Creek, Debbie answered I told her about our situation and asked if she knew anyone I could pay to come get us. She said she would pick us up, she did just that, and was insistent that we not pay her. Wow. We enjoyed getting to know her on the way back. She’s a delight and my wife and I will find some other way to say thank you. We highly recommend this park!

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Jon, the owner himself, is rude. He spoke rudely to both my wife and I. He even went as far as canceling our reservation because he didn’t like us asking who the owner was. He said he needing to cancel our reservation because he didn’t like my demeanor. Mind you, I was very nice and polite with him. I only questioned who he was as an employee because no business should be ran by someone who arrogantly speaks to their customers. We were only verifying our camper would fit on our campsite when we arrived because my wife had made a mistake in giving them our camper length. In the end I’m glad he canceled our reservation because someone who can be so rude to a customer doesn’t deserve the business of anyone.

Great place to stay. Jon and his team were very nice and friendly. Stay on the creek side and you can hear the creek and enjoy your stay. We will be back but will stay in a back in on the creek. We loved the location.
