The front desk was very welcoming and accommodating seeing as we were a late booking. They offered different sites and picked one we absolutely loved. Shaded/wooded and quite. Pool was very clean. Very nice place to stay. We will drive the four hours to come back.

We've stayed here several times as our kids live close by, but we live several hours away. We used to stay here in our previous RV, but sold it several years ago, and this was our first time here in our new RV. It is one of our favorite campgrounds by far. Very cute, well kept, reasonably priced, and very convenient to the interstate! Each campsite is spacious, relatively level, and landscaped. The bath house is always very clean, and air conditioned as well. The hosts have been so friendly and accommodating. I really can't think of any negative comments at all.

We stopped at Crosswinds for a quick overnight on our way home from a 3-weeker, and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. The campground is clean, peaceful, and the sites are tucked into pine trees like they were designed by a woodland architect who values privacy and shade. There’s a pool on site that we didn’t use, but it looked clean and very much not haunted, which is always a bonus. Location-wise, this place is a gem. Right off I-85, making it super convenient for a one-night stop without the usual post-interstate navigation anxiety spiral. And do not miss Salty Caper Wood Fired Pizza down in Salisbury. We headed there for some beer and pizza before hitting the movie theater and left questioning why we don’t live next door. It’s the kind of pizza that makes you consider writing it into your will. Would absolutely stop here again. Great place, great trees, and most importantly, great pizza nearby.

Five-Star Experience at Crosswinds Campground! Crosswinds Campground is truly a gem! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendly and attentive staff—they go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The maintenance crew is top-notch as well; everything is clean, well-kept, and running smoothly. The laundry facilities and bathrooms are spotless and clearly well-maintained, which made a big difference during our stay. The pool is absolutely sparkling and refreshing—perfect for cooling off on a warm day. We also loved the peaceful fishing pond, which added a relaxing touch to the whole experience. Each space has fire pit and a picnic table as well. Another great convenience is the on-site propane fill-up station—so handy! The campsites themselves are a great size, offering enough space to spread out and enjoy some privacy without feeling cramped. We can’t recommend Crosswinds Campground enough. This place has everything you need and more.

Stayed a few weeks ago in May for 3 nights. Very clean campground. Bathhouse houses are clean. Office staff is very friendly and helpful. One of the grounds worker, helped me with my water hookup, as I had lost a hose washer and was leaking. We were in Section C. Gravel sites. Ours was mostly level. Very quiet and relaxing.
