Crystal Isles RV Park

Overview

Crystal Isles RV Park offers a quintessential Florida Gulf Coast experience, blending traditional resort comfort with direct access to the region's unique waterways. Located in the heart of Citrus County, this park serves as a spacious basecamp for those looking to explore the Nature Coast. Whether you are arriving for a seasonal stay or a short getaway, the park provides a well-maintained environment where the focus remains on the outdoors, wildlife, and the gentle pace of coastal living.

Location & Surroundings

Situated just miles from the Gulf of Mexico, the park is defined by its proximity to the water. It is nestled along a canal that leads directly to the Crystal River, making it a prime spot for anglers and boaters. The surrounding landscape is lush with palms and native vegetation, offering a serene atmosphere that feels secluded. This location is conveniently close to the city of Crystal River, where visitors can find local seafood restaurants and essential shopping needs.

Amenities & Park Features

The facility is designed to accommodate a variety of rigs with full hookup sites and options for concrete pads. On-site recreation is a major draw, featuring a large swimming pool, shuffleboard, and pickleball courts for active travelers. For those who bring their own watercraft, the on-site boat ramp and storage options are essential perks. The park also includes a clubhouse for community events, a dedicated pet area, and clean laundry facilities to ensure a comfortable stay for any duration.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The primary draw of the area is the opportunity to swim with manatees in the crystal-clear waters of Three Sisters Springs. Outdoor enthusiasts can launch kayaks directly from the park to explore nearby inlets or take a short drive to Fort Island Gulf Beach for sunset views. History buffs can visit the Crystal River Archaeological State Park, while anglers enjoy easy access to both freshwater springs and saltwater flats for catching trout or seasonal scallops.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is ideal for active retirees and families who enjoy water-based activities and a social community atmosphere. Because of its expansive layout and robust amenities, it suits travelers who prefer a resort-style environment over primitive camping. This used to be our favorite RV resort, but after the hurricane, it just went down the drain the bug situation is so bad so bad that cannot even use. The pool cannot go in the Jacuzzi cannot sit outside as soon as you open the window they eat you alive they need to definitely do something about the pest control outdoor pest control Bathroom. There is no bathhouse so if you’re going to use the pool, be ready to plan on taking shower in your own RV

Great place to stay we had an RV spot on the canal and loved it. Nice dog park for the dogs! Great location close to everything in Crystal River. Would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful park in a lively area. It was damaged by Hurricane Milton and as of March 2025, the pool, clubhouse, bath houses and laundry are not yet available. But I'm looking forward to returning again. Even without all these features it's still a very nice, quiet park.

We stayed there for 4 nights over Presidents’ Day weekend. The campground was very clean and the people were very friendly and accommodating. It’s a beautiful place. We enjoyed walking around the campground with the dog at night. Also close to the beach that just opened back up. Great place for a sunset. The no see ums near the river ate us alive the first night but we used bug spray the rest of the nights with no issue. Also note the bathrooms and clubhouse are out of commission for the foreseeable future. Recommend this place overall though.
