A very large spread out campground. Not many amenities but is well maintained by the local community. Has a small lake for some fishing though probably not going to catch any wall hangers there. A bit pricey for what is available. Overall it's very quiet and peaceful.

This would be a great campground if it had more modern amenities. They do have new toilets installed around but there are no showers. A dump Station would also be great. I don't know if they offer discounts, but the nightly price is high for only toilets and electric IMO.

Super great place to camp lots of history there places to walk you could have a family picnic in the shelter camp there are plenty of campsites it's out in the country so it's rarely loud and noisy once in a while you'll hear a train but that's kind of cool. Definitely a good place that we will continue to visit and enjoy

This 4th of July weekend was our very first trip down to Ayr. It is a great place to camp. We will definitely be going back and enjoying the our side. It is very peaceful and quiet. Lots of shade trees. During the night you can hear the crickets and the other nature sounds. Great place to go with great history story's about it.
