This felt like more of an RV park than a campground. Has 2 sections - one has wooded level sites which appears to be where residents live and then there is an open field with not a tree or bush. It is quite a walk if you use the campground facilities. Gravel sites are not level and our site was on a hill so it was difficult to even stay upright in a camp chair. In and out of rig was dicey with the hill making last step off stairs dangerous. Picnic table had to be dragged from another site and was rotted with splintered wood sticking out. Water pressure was not good and when we disconnected, our water filter was filled with black funk. Make sure you use a filter! On the plus side - good location - close to 65. Very quiet at night. Staff was very pleasant at check in.

The road coming in is very narrow and has shoulders that drop off. Kind of scary when an opposing car passes. Skinny roads through the park. The site was a pull through plenty long for a big rig + toad. Quiet park with a lot of seasonal sites. We just stayed one night as we were passing through.

Great stopover on the way home. I booked online with no problem for a late arrival and they greeted me quickly and showed me to my spot. Spots were pull through so easy in and easy out. The bathhouse was adequate and laundry facilities were great. 3.00 a load was high in my opinion but I was grateful to have working equipment and fast machines

Stayed at the Cozy Cabin. Enjoyed the screened-in porch with view of the trees and big grassy area for boys (ages 3 and 6) to run and play. Plenty of resident ducks for boys to feed. Small, older playground was enjoyable for them as well along with porch games and rocking chairs at the office.Loved the hike down by the river, beautiful and trail was well-marked. Weber grill was great. Nice little fire pit provided. We loved the pond, let the boys practice casting skills but other fishers caught small fish when we were there. Cabin was clean, kitchen had extra storage space for food, a/c worked very well. Basic toiletries provided, plenty of towels, basic kitchen necessities provided, full size refrigerator, stove and oven. WiFi worked great. Water pressure great. Would love to stay again and bring the dogs next time, dog park on premises. Staff was very, very friendly.

Our friends gave us the idea about using this campground as a place for our son to stay when he moved off to college. He stayed at this campground his first year in college and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The staff was extremely helpful in all aspects, from us previewing the campground on our first visit, helping move the camper in and setting it up, all the way up until we brought our camper home. The atmosphere and layout of the campground gave it a sense of community. The little store, ducks gracefully walking around the sight, the playground, neat and tidy bathhouses, scheduled events, updates on weather and places to shelter if needed, communication with campers, and so much more give this campground a feeling of being part of a family. My husband and I decided that if we are in the area and need a place to stay, the cabins they have to rent will be the perfect get-away for us. We will continue to recommend this campground to others who are looking for accommodations.
