Stayed in the RV Park for 5 days. Unfortunately it was raining most of those days, so we didnt get to hike much. There are plenty of nice hiking trails from what the map says. Some of the sites are difficult to find. The rv park and facilities are well maintained and clean.

This review is for Cumberland Mountain State Park Campground. We have stayed several nights over several camping trips. We love section 2 and over the last several trips we have had the same Campground Host and his name is Pete. He is very congenial and he keeps the bath house spotless! You will not find a cleaner bathroom anywhere and the hot water is almost instantaneous. I would say that 75 to 80% of the sites are level and easy to back in. Fall colors are peeking as of 10/28/25. Be sure to check out the restaurant especially on Saturday, delicious pulled pork and ribs on the buffet. Thank you Pete! You’re doing a great job.

We did not rent a cabin here, but we did check it out. It is definitely on our list to do. This park is beautiful with tons of things to do. Cabins look nice from the outside. Restaurant was excellent. There is a pool in the summer time. Plenty of hiking trails and gorgeous views.

Was visiting family with my sister and her husband. We booked the Timberlodge 3 Cabin. Arrived for check in and was greeted, shown map and given instructions on how to get to cabin (very nice people). Cabin was spacious, clean, cooled by central air conditioning, fire place and three bedrooms. Two full beds in two of the rooms and one full bed in third. Plates, bowls, utensils and silverware were available and used. Two comfortable couches and a dining room table. Very happy with everything. We were on stream side of park and there were various spots to fish or just hang out listen to the water flow, listen and watch birds or hike some of the trails. The park is about an hour and a half both to Nashville and Gatlinburg which are two of the places we visited while not visiting family or relaxing at cabin. It’s a beautiful park and beautiful area.Tennessee in general seems like a great place to live or just visit. I’m considering moving there. Thank you to the staff and park rangers for a great stay! We will be back!
