Great campsite only around five miles downriver from williamsport. Well maintained. A fire ring water pump picnic table and outhouse. The only drawback is it's kinda noisy across the river until dark. Lawnmowers and weed wackers and the occasional party. But still a nice campsite

We stayed here during a particularly rainy week so the campsite was inundated and muddy but we still found some dry areas to set up our tents. The bugs here are loud at night but that’s just part of the experience.

Thank goodness the NPS does not charge a fee to use these hiker/biker campsites along the towpath. They are a wonderful resource and asset.
