Service was great! As soon as you arrive a guide in his golf cart would lead you to your site and help you back in. Sites were small but concreted. They would also deliver firewood to your site if you purchased. Unfortunately it was higher than we expected for the wood. Great view of the Kentucky River and waterfall. Many amenities, food trucks, live music, karoke, canoe/kayak, fishing, etc in campground. Wineries and distilleries within half an hour. The hill down to get to this place is one lane so they are very strict on time arrival so you don't have to back up/down when another camper is trying to pass. If we would come again we'd come a little more into the summer so we could kayak. We had a rainy/stormy couple nights and morning here.

We had a great one night stay at Cummins ferry. You should know that the road getting there is pretty tight, but their communication prior to arrival is excellent and let you know everything you need to know. Most of these sites are pretty level, but I would bring extra blocking just in case you need to level up. The scenery is gorgeous and the staff are exceptional. Hard to believe that a month ago, this place was underwater. They have done a great job to get it up and going.

Cummins Ferry Campground is an excellent choice for RV camping. It’s everything you want it be in a campsite. It is clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are plenty of amenities and beautiful views of the Kentucky River. We will definitely be back! Kevin made us feel extremely welcome. He was also around to answer any questions and help us when we needed help. He definitely represented the friendly environment at Cummins ferry. Thanks for a wonderful experience, Doug G.

Beautiful campground right on the Kentucky River. Enjoyed the music and the food truck on Saturday night. Check in was easy and the service was great. The only downer for the weekend was all the rain, but hey, they can't control that. Hope to visit again when the weather is nicer and take advantage of the other offerings they have available.

The people who ran the campground were friendly and helpful. Our spot was level enough that we didn't have to use blocks and the utilities were close. We also had a nice view of the river and cliffs from our campsite. The shower room was very clean and spacious. The timer on the lights needs to be extended so that you don't have the lights turn out on you during the middle of your shower though. The entertainment and ice cream truck on Saturday night were nice and a lot of people did show up for those events. We had a great stay and met some really nice people.

We had a great time at Cummins Ferry RV Park. The view was gorgeous. The people were friendly and very helpful. They created opportunities for everyone to get involved. The grounds are clean and kept. The only issue was quiet time was not kept. Our neighbor was up at 6:30 every morning talking and laughing outside our bedroom window. They also had a party until almost midnight one night. Other than that, great experience

We've stayed at Cummins Ferry twice and have enjoyed both trips. The staff is super friendly, they have a very nice store, and you'd better watch out for Bigfoot wandering about!! 😳This time the prices seemed to be a little higher, but I understand they recently changed management and are making a lot of improvements. The waterfall on the river is beautiful! It rained pretty hard the day we arrived, so some of the sites were pretty sloppy. Everything seemed to dry out quickly once the weather cleared up. On our previous trip we put our kayaks in the river and enjoyed an afternoon kayaking up river, having lunch, and floating back. There are goats on the hills a little way upstream from the campground, which was pretty cool. They had live music on Saturday night with a food truck, which was a lot of fun. We were able to meet a few of our fellow campers. They have a lot of kids activities. In spite of the higher prices, we will be coming back. They're still working on several improvements, so it may be a little premature to use the terms "luxurious" and "resort" but it seems they're heading that way! Happy camping!

Beautiful campground and the staff are all amazing. So helpful from check in to check out. Bathrooms and laundry room were very clean and well maintained. Country store is super cute! Wood available for purchase. Weekend music and food truck created such a down to earth friendly vibe and overall wonderful experience. Would definitely come back again!

Tucked away in the rolling hills, Cummins Ferry offers stunning views of the Kentucky River in a serene setting. The staff was kind and welcoming - the kind of people who you can tell love their job. Even though we were just staying one night, we were invited to a potluck dinner organized by the site. The food did not disappoint!! Amenities include a shop for supplies and souvenirs, kayaks for rent and walking trails both in the forest and along the river. Renovations like new parking pads and decks will only continue to improve this gem.

This campground was very quiet with a super friendly and accommodating staff. The bathhouse was bright and sparkling clean. Our campsite had a beautiful view. Many improvements are ongoing to make this campground even more attractive to travelers like patios and extra parking places. One of the most relaxing weeks we've ever spent camping. Can't wait to go back and see what's been done since we left.
