A massive reservoir with tons of opportunity for different outdoor activities, be sure to stop by the visitor center as they are so helpful and helping you find the right place for what you’re looking for within the rec area, with some nice gifts and resources as well!!

Beautiful Colorado! Very windy and not friendly for shoreline fishing. The dogs had a blast and the kids waded around in the water for bit. I recommend having a boat or water floating of some sort. Zero amenities and absolutely breath taking scenery.

Beautiful campground, not a bad site to be used. Not too much shade, bring your sunscreen!

Stark beauty, no shower facilities, electric but no water hook ups, older boats with high rental prices, marina restaurant closed, limited traffic access due to bridge construction (no one's fault) was quiet at night, lots of dark sky experiences. Kind camp host, clean bathroom.

Great views and beautiful area to visit. Disappointed hwy 50 was closed until October. So we weren't able to reach the Dillon Pinnacles trailhead to hike.

Great place to camp out. The sights and sounds are spectacular. Spaces are clean and ample amounts of space. I strongly recommend you stake your tent. The wind currents can be vicious, and also, watch out for nature. The little red Robin, magpie, crows, and chipmunks work as a team to go thru and pillage your camp if you leave it unattended. The best thing about this campground is the restrooms.

Curecanti National Recreation Area offers stunning camping sites with beautiful views that will take your breath away. The area is perfect for fishing enthusiasts, with plenty of opportunities to reel in some great catches. Overall, a fantastic place to immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the great outdoors. Highly recommended for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

Windy mountain beaches. Lots of likable spots around the lake, but I liked the Bay of Chickens best. Cool, calm water lapping up the shore, facing the western sun, armada of chicken cloud-gods soaring through the skies—what’s not to like?
