We recently stayed here for a wedding. We were over charged $85 for a take away crib that we did actually get (we brought a pack-n-play). Multiple phone calls have been made but we've basically been told they didn't care and won't refund our money.

1920s historical lodge. Stopped in for lunch, did not stay there. Historical decor and information. Beautiful. Located in Custer State Park. Food was delicious. Buffet with salad fixings, soup, fruit, desserts and hot entrees or order sandwiches and burgers off menu. Service friendly and quick. Dining room large and comfortable. Highly recommend.

We visited the lodge off-season (early October) and had a good, affordable rate. The rooms were impeccably clean and had everything we needed, except WiFi. Now that I think about it, the TV was a little funky too — it felt like I was transported to the year 2006. But, hey — you’re not here to watch TV.

We stopped for a beverage after driving on Needles Hwy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. The gift shop had nice items and the restroom was clean. We will definitely consider staying here the next time we are in Custer State Park.

We spent 6 nights in the Creekside Cabin across the road from the State Game Lodge. Two families with 7 kids. The cabin was well maintained. The adjacent bunk house worked great for all the kids and the main cabin's two bedrooms were comfortable for the parents. Cabin was equipped with a gas grill and a fire ring with grate for charcoal grilling. Custer State Park is a great place. We canned and swam at Legion Lake and Sylvan Lake. Both are beautiful and have great swimming areas. Make sure to hit the visitor center to get the lay of park and history.
