I give it a 5 stars because they were extremely nice and the location is gorgeous and very peaceful. I believe his name was Alec or Alex. He called and told us our cabin in K11 was without power and the issue was underground so it wouldn't be fixed easily. Things happen and I understand that. They gave me an 80% discount so it would be like a tent fee instead of a cabin fee, and he made sure we had a golf cart since the main bath house was also out of order with the electricity problem. With a bad knee I was very greatful for that since I would have to go farther to other bath houses. Overall it was a fun place to stay. It's absolutely run down to be honest and needs a deep clean, but I can see they're trying to make it better. I hope they can renovate and add to the park because this place could be even more amazing but that of course takes time and money. If you want a true camping experience with some added perks this is definitely the place to go. We stayed for the Halloween weekend and it was a blast! The haunted trail was fun and the actors were respectful. My toddler enjoyed the ice cream social, karaoke, mini golf, and the painted pumpkins. We loved the movie in the park and would love it if they had more movie nights. We will be back and hope to see this park thrive! They truly have a unique and beautiful piece of land. I am very greatful they tried their best to make our experience fun even with the electric issue. The internet is starlink which is unreliable at best but don't go camping deep into the mountains and expect to have perfect service lol. Most experienced campers brought walkie talkies. They could use more staff but the staff they had were all very nice and worked their butts off. One thing I really hope they fix is to add golf carts with headlights! I am glad they make them only 5mph though because this is a very kid friendly park with lots of bicycle riders. I'm looking forward to next year!

Very active little resort. Well maintained. Store had mostly candy so don’t depend on it for camping staples. Friendly staff, lots of family oriented activities. Needs improvement with WIFI - or at least more transparency with the fact that it sucks and is not at all dependable nor always accessible. Camping spots are pretty close to one another so look before you book. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Very nice and inexpensive campground. Beautiful scenery. So many things to do outside. Tennis, mini golf, volleyball, indoor/outdoor pool which felt great!, you can rent golf carts, and they also have a convenience store with a beer and liquor store! Also a food hall right next to the awesome playground! Bring some cash! The cabins are clean, and the lofts feel nice to sleep in. Has a AC unit, fridge, and a bathroom. A bed with linens you just need to bring more to make it super cozy! A sink, and a little couch. Also the camp has lots of trails along the beautiful river. I recommend rainbow trail! Such a beautiful resort!

We stayed this weekend. Travel on Hwy 50 is better than I-70 everyday of the week. This place is a blast from the past. It does need some TLC, but EVERYONE had fun and the staff was OUTSTANDING! We're planning our next stay, right now. Built in the 1960's, some things need work, but it doesn't ruin the experience. Book your stay! A big THANK YOU to the staff!

Booked Cutty's to try a new site. Our campsite, C5, was very hard to level our 26' trailer on. Side to side wasn't an issue, but our tongue jack was maxed out to get the front to back flat. The water hookups were adequate, but the "20amp" pedestal was just a junction box with no cover. I wasn't able to use the sewer connection with my one hose because I had to stay at the back of the pad and the hose wouldn't reach. If I had moved forward to where the hose would have worked, I wouldn't have been level at all. Other than that, the site was nice, shaded most of the day, the picnic table was terribly old and had a bolt sticking out of it, we didn't use it and moved it out of the way. There was a bathroom/showers a few steps away and you wouldn't know it was there unless you camped right next to it. The bathrooms across the venue were always clean, and the showers were great compared to some camp shower nightmares I've seen in the past. The staff was constantly seen cleaning them, and my boys had 0 issues using them. The outdoor pool was clean and typically not over crowded. It would be so nice if it were heated just a little, but the cool June weather made hanging out for a long time hard. I'm sure in the heat of summer this is the place to be during the day. The indoor pool was muggy, but clean and we were the only ones there again. The "pool deck" was closed for maintenance, but it didn't appear that any work was being considered. The upstairs game room was fine too, cheap pool, and free ping pong. One table, we were told, "eats pool balls," so if any other group had rented the stuff prior to us, we would have had a struggle on our hands. Plenty of board games, poker chips, and a TV that I assume worked. We never tried. The bottom floor had a nice little store with ice cream, sodas, and a few "necessities." Staff were all overly cheery, helpful, and seemed like they really enjoyed working at Cutty's. We enjoyed our trip, and noted a few sites within the park that we'd skip, and few that we'd book if we decide to return. Overall, I'd say that Cutty's is worth a visit, it may not be at the top of our "must return" list, but it's most certainly an option for the area.

Cuttys is a fantastic place to get away, feels like your up in the high mountains with all the beautiful nature around. The staff is so friendly and they have activities for everyone. All kinds of ways to stay.

We love love love Cutty’s!!! We’ve been coming here for 4 (maybe 5) years now and most years we come 2x a year because we love it so much!! The best is the super friendly and helpful staff. We’ve worked with Jill in reservations for years but she has now moved on but Jenny in reservations is also very nice & helpful. They have outdoor & indoor pools. The outdoor pool is not heated so it’s brisk. This is my only wish - wish it was heated to a bit more comfortable temperature. The indoor pool is nice and heated but the outdoor pool is better for hanging out. They also have tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, putt putt, shuffle board, & tether ball. All equipment can be borrowed out for free. They also have bingo, karaoke, trivia night. For kids, they offer Candy Bingo so bring 5-10 full size candy bars to buy in. Even if the county doesn’t have a fire 🔥 ban, Cutty’s may have one so highly recommend a propane fire pit. Cutty’s is among a lot of dry trees so this is very understandable and for safety. The showers & bathrooms are clean. Yes, this place is run down but it’s been around since the 60’s so it’s in great shape considering. Come & enjoy all that makes Cutty’s magical!

An absolute gem of a campground, we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities were clean and well maintained and there were a lot of activities to entertain our kiddo when we weren't out exploring all the awesome things to do in the area. All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially Jenny and Shay. We're so happy that we discovered this place and plan to make it a regular destination when we're looking to go camping.

We enjoy our stays here. A lot of stuff is pretty run down and could use some repair/updating. I wish there was a place to do laundry (by the pool would be ideal, they could even make one of the shower rooms a washer/dryer room). Also wish there was more comfortable seating and a place for shade by outdoor pool so we adults could relax while kids play. Bingo was a lot of fun and the kids love the movie nights.

My child had a magical time here. It’s safe-vehicles drive 5 mph or slower because there are so many kids running around. There’s an indoor heated pool and outdoor pool. The bathrooms were spotless. Their gift shop/store stays open until 10pm and they stock essentials just like a hotel. You can even get a 1/2 gallon of milk. Firewood was reasonably priced. If you can’t have a fire you can rent a grill. Mountain views are beautiful. They have a playground. Breakfast and pulled pork dinner were delicious and reasonably priced. Some of the facilities are dated but that’s part of the charm. We met people that had been camping there since they were kids and are now bringing their kids. Many staff are families that live on the property. They were all fantastic and so helpful. We booked two more weekends this summer-one of which will have live music. We can’t wait to go back.

This place is such a hidden gem. We loved it. The staff was so friendly, the all you can eat pancakes were great. Overall the charm and atmosphere was so welcoming and so great. The creek was right next to our site and we got to listen to the calmness of the running water.The kids played tennis and swam in the pool. A great time was had by all, thank you Cuttys!

A friend of mine recommended this place. We scheduled a 4 day trip with four other family’s this past weekend. Long story short we had a great time, everyone one was very friendly and kind. The amenities were great, our kids got to play tennis, basketball, mini golf, arcade and swim in the indoor and outdoor pool. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a great camping experience and make family memories. We will definitely be adding this place to are yearly camping trip.
