Camped for 2 nights in RV. Most spots are not level and many have short pads. Watch out for red ants. No camp host when we were there. No cell service or electric hookups. Otherwise a very good campground with good space between sites.

The campground itself gets five stars for location, cleanliness, hiking trails and location. There is a common problem at most of the state parks and that is no rule enforcement. There was a group camped next to me that were loud after midnight. They were smoking, loud, and had their campfire going after midnight. In this campground most of the sites are too close together. If people would realize that this is not your backyard. It's a shared environment with a lot of different people. Most people that come here are trying to enjoy nature-not party all night. It would have been an enjoyable experience if the Rangers would enforce all the park rules not just no check in before two o clock. I left here after one night.

Last year, my friend invited us to go camping at Green Valley Campground during a long weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. The campground is well-maintained, and the restrooms were clean. There is a machine where you need to insert bills to get tokens for a hot shower. The kids absolutely loved the camping experience, and they were especially delighted by the sounds of birds at night, which made the stay even more special. Overall, it was a memorable trip. Highly recommended.

Stayed here 10/11-10/13. Short trip but worth it!!! Flush toilets & showers. The showers were kinda gross but I’m sure they do the best they can tryin to keep up behind nasty folks 😔 BEAUTIFUL campground!! We checked out the falls… peaceful & therapeutic. Noticed zero trash which made my heart so happy for the forest!!!Ill I’ll for sure be back!

The camp ground was clean with modern bathrooms and coin showers. Beautiful in June. There was lots of water in the streams and waterfalls. A must see for San Diego. Watch out for poison ivy. Lots of reptiles.

Went two weeks ago and the water level was perfect for splashing around in. Daily parking was $10, we did get the last parking spot so it does fill up. A quick hike down to the falls. Clean and well kept.

Great place to camp with family. We had site 27 and loved it. It has several tent spots, plenty of wiggle room, and water access adjacent to the campsite. Clean restrooms just a short walk away (maybe a little far for the women, but close enough - normally we don’t like camping right next to the restrooms:). Downsides: the park staff don’t empty the fire pits very often - ours was nearly overflowing with ash. The bathrooms have no soap. The reservation website charges $8 to book a reservation. Extra cars cost extra $10/night. The park staff do not mark off reserved sites- which could cause confusion over weekends when the park is not monitored as often and people just stop by to camp for the night with no reservation. The Sweetwater River falls hike is at the base of the campground. It was a very short and beautiful hike. April 2023 the water was abundant, almost overflowing the banks. Beautiful site! The elevation is just under 4K, high enough to get real cool nights, but low enough to be below the snow line most winter long.

We stayed at the over priced group horse camp. The restrooms, showers, and corrals are very nice. The facilities are not serviced by the park staff. Tons of outstanding horseback riding trails. Be very cautious with your pets, the coyotes are plentiful and not bashful. This is a picture of the deer on the hill tree.

Great spot for tent camping. Only a few sites are suitable for RVs.

This campground has big spaces for tent camping. Each area has a picnic table and fire pit. There are tons of squirrels and birds to watch and feed too!
