Hotel: The air conditioner makes so much noise each time that it cuts on that it would wake us up all night. It was so loud we recorded the noise. But I was told that is common in that hotel. I asked to be credited for my stay but I was told no they did not do that. I had pre paid for my 2 rooms ahead of time. From the looks of things they need people to visit the casino. The drive there was 600 miles round trip. The slots were were way too tight. Well, this was my last stay at the hotel and last visit to the casino. Very disappointed in the entire place including staff.

This place have went down hill the food is nasty but my mother wanted to come for her birthday. Let talk about the so call mexican now my parents are from Louisiana we know cajun food am from corpus christi tx as to some close to the border so I know mexican food. The waitress didn't know nothing about the food it was her first day so she call the manager in which she was w worst knew nothing about what they serve. I ask her what comes the she could tell me what came in the taco, mexican enchiladas, or the mexican boritos all the manger kept saying was beef only beef I told her I read very well I know that what the menu says but that not what all comes in a bonito. Receive my plate it was trash nothing on there was right first we had cold chips with hot salsa now you know it surpose to be hot chips cold salsa they didnt cook the corn tortilla for the enchiladas they just rolled the meat and sprinkle the cheese on top not melted or anything and we not going to talk about the bonito. I know how to spell bonito this phone keep changing the spelling for some reason. But moving along after talking to the manager again her excuse was that the restaurant is mexican with a cajun twisted because they serve steak , shrimp I could not stop laughing I said all mexican restaurant serve steak, shrimp and fish there is no twisted to it. I will never ever be back to this casino again.

Rooms were clean! Can’t take your purse or bags to eat the free breakfast, security guard said people be stealing.

We were just looking for a place to stay for the night as we were passing through. The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. We don't gamble so it was nice to be able to hang out in the restaurants to pass the time. They have some nice Chitamacha displays, I had to look them up as we're from Ojibwe country and I was unfamiliar. Interesting history of their people. Always enjoy learning more.

I've been here about 5 or 6 times. Staff isn't very friendly hit or miss. The slot machines are god awful. I spend 3 to 500 everytime I go and have never went home with anything. Most I've ever got was $100 on a machine I was already down $200 on. I've been to other casinos all over louisiana and it's never this bad. I went to the casino about 30 minutes further south and won 400 my first visit and 1000 on my second. If you like giving away money this place is for you. The table minimums are cheap though. The casino itself is well kept

Been coming here for years. Every month just has gotten worse and worse. I call for a handicap room for my mother weeks in advance and every time they do not have it down as a handicap room. Don’t get me started on the casino. If you want a drink while you are playing, bring your own. I have to wait at least a hour are more for a drink 🥃. If she even comes around. After a hour and 20min I just went find the girl for a drink. I highly recommend spending your money somewhere else.

I wish I could give this place a five star but I can't! When you go there and spend YOUR MONEY YOU WORK HARD FOR and they have people that are sitting at the slot machines and drinking for free not spending a darn dime just waiting for their names to be called for the give away!!! I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT!! Then if you ask someone if they're playing that machine they have a smart ass mouth about it when obviously they're not playing it with no money in it. I don't think my husband and I will ever step foot back in this place! again !! If people are not spending money at your place why do you allow them to take up space for the one's that are spending!!!??? Claudine Pitre

Cypress Bayou has experienced a downturn from the place it once was. They don't have the Shorty's Casino anymore. They have also removed the discotheque Roxys and its just not the same. For someone who has patronized the casino over the years, I hope a new fire to bring the place up to meet its past great experience will follow the momentum to become even better.
