Cypress RV & Mobile Home Park

Overview

Cypress RV & Mobile Home Park offers a unique blend of coastal charm and neighborhood convenience in the heart of Morro Bay. This park provides a steady and tranquil home base for travelers exploring the scenic Central Coast. Unlike sprawling resorts, this park features an intimate atmosphere where visitors can enjoy the sound of distant foghorns and the cool Pacific breeze. It is primarily known for its prime location and straightforward facilities, making it a reliable choice for seasoned RVers who want to be near the water.

Location & Surroundings

Situated on Main Street, the park is just a few blocks away from the iconic Morro Rock and the Embarcadero. Guests can easily leave their vehicles behind and stroll to the waterfront to watch sea lions or browse local boutiques. The surrounding neighborhood is characterized by quaint residential streets and small-town commerce. Being positioned along the Pacific Coast Highway corridor, it serves as an excellent midpoint for those traveling between Los Angeles and San Francisco, offering a peaceful respite from the road.

  • Access to high-speed Wi-Fi and cable television at most sites.
  • On-site clean restrooms and hot showers for guest convenience.
  • A dedicated laundry room equipped with modern machines.

While the park maintains a compact footprint, the layout is designed to accommodate various rig types while keeping you close to the center of the action.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The biggest draw for visitors is the immediate access to Morro Bay State Park, where hiking trails and bird watching opportunities abound. Visitors can spend their afternoons kayaking in the protected estuary or taking a short thirty-minute drive to the historic Hearst Castle in San Simeon. For those who enjoy local flavors, the area is famous for fresh saltwater taffy, dockside seafood markets, and the nearby Paso Robles wine region. Watching the sunset behind the massive volcanic plug of Morro Rock is an essential daily ritual for guests staying here.

We loved this place. We were in site 8, so quiet and level. Andy and Betina (I think) were so nice. Immaculate bathrooms, hot showers, clean grounds, and PERFECT LOCATION a block from downtown and 2 from Embarcadero.

Location is central to all Morro Bay has to offer and the onsite manager is really nice and helpful. Unfortunately for the price it leaves much to be desired- the lot is small, and they don't allow fires so it's more like a parking lot than actually camping. This makes it hard to enjoy the outdoors with your motorhome, trailer, or RV. This spot would be good if you intend to spend your day at the beach, shopping, and dining at restaurants around Morro Bay.

As another reviewer said, it’s immaculate here. And walking distance from just about anything. Very convenient and comfortable spot. I wore my noise cancelling headphones to mute the traffic noise while sitting outside was happy as can be.

This is a great spot in walking distance of all you'd want to sea. The grounds are immaculate as well as the facilities. Host was very nice and even accommodating our late arrival. Dog friendly is a huge plus for us.
