We had a great experience camping over Labor Day weekend. Our campsite was large enough to accommodate and the campground is close to many places to visit. Highly recommend the Floyd country store, chateau morrisette, and dogtown roadhouse!

We loved this campground. It's in the middle of nowhere with tons of mature trees and very shady campsites. Very quiet, very cool. Very much a place to get away from it all. The campsites are a mixed bag. Some level, some not so much. There are only a few sites big and level enough for our 34' 5th wheel, so check ahead. 30 amp only as far as I saw. We didn't check out the bathrooms or cabins. Cell service (Verizon) is almost non-existent but they've got fiber WiFi which works well enough for streaming and computing and WiFi calling. The owner and help are super-friendly and seem committed to updating and improving the park. We will definitely come back.

Cabins have a strong smell and do not stay warm when it's cold. You can see the moisture issues in the wood paneling that is warped all over. Beds are decades old and you can feel all the springs. Not worth the price IMHO. Had it not been so cold, it would have been better to camp in a tent. Campgrounds are dated but it was clean. Office staff is never at the office. Bathrooms were centrally located and heated. Laundry facilities consist of one washer and dryer from the 1990's that are all rusted out and left outside.

Website states, "Daddy Rabbit's campground is a great place for just plain old relaxation." I will agree with the words "plain" and "old" but take issue with the rest of the statement. First thing when you pull in is a trailer with clutter laying around it, which is not very comforting. The roads and campsites were very difficult to find under a layer of leaves. Bring extra leveling blocks. 20 amp service was sufficient for us, but know that running your A/C and coffee pot at the same time may trip a fuse. The water supply had a large amount of sediment in it. The bathhouse, while repainted sometime in the recent past, was full of old cobwebs and dried out insect carcasses, which really should be cleared out at least once a week. Overall, Daddy Rabbit's has the feeling of an old boy scout camp that council leadership is in the process of closing, and are trying to get one last summer out of it before finally calling it quits. We'll be staying someplace else next time we return to Floyd.

The campground is so quiet and you have the shaded cover of a lot of trees. The owner is very friendly and there is firewood available for purchase if you want to have a fire. There is WiFi available, but it’s not consistent or reliable if you’re running a remote business. We had full hookups and we would recommend staying here ❤️ There is a cute little town, Meadow’s of Dan, close by where you can by groceries and the whole area is just beautiful. If you’re looking for a quote place to stay off the beaten path, this is perfect.
