Lilydale Campground at Dale Hollow Lake is one of my all‑time favorite places. We usually visited the day‑use area every year, and after boating here a few times, we finally decided to try camping. We stayed for 2 nights, and our campsite (Site 21) was right near the lake with a gorgeous sunrise view. The site isn’t shaded, so the afternoon heat can be intense in the tent, but thankfully one tree gave us some relief. It’s also close to the washrooms and the boat ramp, which was very convenient. The washrooms were exceptionally clean and even air‑conditioned, which was a big plus. Overall, we really enjoyed our camping experience here.

Site 65 Beautiful campground. My site was right on the water. It's a steep bank to get to the water but once there you can tie it up and it's ready to go all weekend. The sites are level with Electric and water (no sewer) . I have Verizon and got good service three bars. Lots of families with bikes buzzing about but at night it quieted down nicely. Bring anything you might need, civilization is pretty far away.

Lilydale campground was gorgeous! The scenic view camping on the peninsula was absolutely breathtaking!! The very lovely couple at the front were more than accommodating for us and our family, we had an emergency with one of our fur babies and they were quick to respond!! Thank you Lily Dale for a wonderful time! 🙏 God bless

This is our 2nd year back to the campground. We really like the waterfront locations 18-28 (we’ve stayed in spots 20 & 24 in our 30ft. motorhome. The other side of the campground is tighter and seems busier. The hosts/volunteer couple is really nice. Two dump stations, which is extra convenient. Just wish we had a boat to launch!

A great little swim spot and grill area. The grill areas pavilion has electric plug ins and lights that have a switch because closing time is 10pm. The water has a part where it is all rocks where you can swim but there is a spot with sand to play in also. There is also a little play area with a rock wall 2 slides and swings. Only thing is the bathroom could use more than 2 stalls and 1 shower

We were SO pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the welcome post to see smiling faces and to hear a sweet, welcoming tone of voice! We had been dreading the arrival as a result of the past hosts’ harassing. Mind you, we have been coming together as a family for 31 years (and my husband grew up on this lake). We spent 11 glorious days at the campground with helpful hosts and smooth camping with no issues. The campground improvements this year were welcomed with the new gates for added security, new WIFI, new washers and dryers and a cleaner appearance. They even had a new map which explained everything more in depth. All the campers we spoke with were so much happier and relaxed this year. We cannot wait to return in two weeks as this has always been our favorite campground and now, it feels like home again! Thanks to the hosts!!

Great place ! Fun and family oriented. Take lots of food and drink as there is no food places on the lake . This is the cleanest lake I have ever been to. When I stand about waist high in the water I can literally see my feet, looking at the bottom. It's a bit rocky in spots but nothing horribly bad. We always enjoy our trips!
