Absolutely beautiful location! Widely spaced sites with lake views. Food at the marina was a bonus, excellent service, scenery, and very good food.

Excellent location and all the campers are very pleasant. Both sets of hosts were very kind to me. I met one camper who took Me out on his boat and another made me breakfast. The majority are local people within 3 hours drive of here. We are traveling across country. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The weekends get busy, but it’s still not loud. During the week it’s extremely quiet. I recommend

We camped here for 4 days and 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. Frankly I’m baffled about the negative reviews. The staff was exceedingly friendly, the water access was better than I’ve encountered, and we had an absolute blast the entire time. The views of the lake and the sunsets were awesome, and the stargazing is some of the best I’ve seen in the eastern US. We went here with two other families and were able to get sequential campsites which helped the kids have a great time. We can’t wait to come back!

Camping here in July campsites right at water , it’s like having your own private beach -water access. Staff is friendly. Bathrooms and shower house is air conditioned and very clean. Lots to do around the area - boating - all water sports. Nice dock store and restaurant with bar. I would recommend this place to everyone- it does not disappoint!

I love camping here near Halloween. They have the trunk or treat, and the costume decorating contest is always fun. The place is well maintained and quiet at night. I wish they had sewer at the sites but the duo station is easy to get to and close by in the park. The only negative from what I’ve heard from friends and family are the caretakers. They did seem to spend a lot of time driving around telling people to stop doing stuff.
