Dallas/Arlington KOA

Such a cute stay! Love all the trees everywhere and the little rental cabins gave it a cute vibe. We got the patio site and it was very cozy. A little outdated though in that the swing chair had missing boards on the bench part and things like the bounce pad was very delayed could not jump on it. But connections worked well, check in was friendly and easy, and location was convenient and not in the middle of nowhere yet generally quiet.

This place was great. Location is off hwy 20 into the city some. Lots to offer around it. You wouldn't think much looking at it from the street, but it was a pleasant surprise. Clean Spots with gas grills, picnic tables, swinging chairs. Dog park, pool area and laundry, little cabins! The list goes on. One of the nicest KOA's we've stayed at. Thanks for the peaceful rest.... we're on to our next destination!

Needs some upkeep in areas. Playground was run down and not alot there. Restrooms were clean but had a sewer odor. Was disappointed they closed the pool while we were there due to theft and we couldn't use the pool. The pool was the main reason we booked here. It is close to town and attractions so that's a bonus. Probably wouldn't stay here again though. *Entrance is rough and not easy to navigate with a big rig. Our hitch on our motorhome with our towed truck bottomed out when leaving.

Beautiful older campground. The staff is super helpful and friendly. You can sometimes tell there's a minor plumbing issue in the ladies restroom but it wasn't too bad. The restroom and showers are great and kept clean. We would stay again the next time we're in the area. They are also responsive to requests, letting us check out 2 hours later so we wouldn't have to take our trailer to the lunch restaurant before heading out.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Campground in Arlington, TX! We had a wonderful stay at this campground in Arlington! Whether you’re in town for a short visit or looking for a place to settle in for full-time RV living, this is truly a fantastic spot. The campground is clean, quiet, and feels very safe and secure. It’s conveniently located near the airport, Dallas, and within easy reach of great shopping and dining options. You really can’t beat the location! A special and heartfelt thank you to the camp hosts Brian, Kara, and Gates. They went above and beyond during our stay, especially when we experienced an unexpected emergency. They were quick to help, incredibly kind, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made all the difference and truly made us feel at home. We highly recommend this campground to anyone passing through the Arlington area or looking for a more permanent RV spot. Thanks again to the amazing team for making our stay such a positive experience!

Head up— there is construction going on next to the campground and you hear constant beeping and noise plus kicked up dust from before 8:00 and until late evening. This is as of 4-13-22 and I expect it will continue on for a year. This should have been disclosed before we booked the site. Also, check in is 3:00 which after setting up, you have little time to enjoy the area. Other than that, the campground is well maintained and has cute areas.

Very nice park located in Arlington with great access to Dallas and Ft Worth. We had a nice long and level pull through site. Plenty of space between our spot and others, probably 25-30 feet, and a great concrete patio with a table and chairs, glider, and our own firepit and propane grill. The park is clean and the staff was very friendly.

Great place to stay. It's in the middle of the city but feels like it's not. Very quiet. We really loved all the friendly people and staff. I also loved the texting option for information. They were able to easily inform us that they had to turn the water off, then informed us when it was back on. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

Nice place. Make sure you ask for Lisa, she’s the best. Good people in the park. Staff is always attentive to the grounds but not sure what management does. There’s issues with homeless around the outside of the park but management doesn’t seem to care or do anything about it. Holes in the fence and overgrown brush not being taken care of. Just raised the rates to include electricity but still charging more than what it actually costs. I’ve never met the manager but not a fan of the direction this park is going. It would be nice if the manager would show themselves in the park from time to time because the staff can only do so much. I would give 5 stars if they would get rid of the gravel spots and lower the cost of the sites. We’re staying a few miles away for less with level concrete sites and no issues whatsoever. Good place to stay temporarily but not long term.

This campground was definitely on the high end list of KOA campgrounds that we recently stayed at on our trip across country. Everything about the campground is top notch except if you don't know where the campground is located it can be a bit difficult to access the first time since it is located on a somewhat busy road and the sign sits back a bit too far. Other than that issue, it felt like an oasis after traveling east through the desert and oil fields of Texas. The staff were great, the spot we were assigned was level, close to the pool and offered plenty of room for our three slide outs without feeling on top of our neighbors. We were right across from the big, gorgeous pool and bathhouse/laundry/community bldg which was meticulously clean! They also had two grassy and fenced in dog runs side by side, one for dogs under 25 lbs and a larger one for dogs over 25 lbs. We were traveling in a 40 foot diesel pusher and the site we were assigned was an easy access, pull-through. It was definitely big-rig friendly. We had all services, 50 amp electric, wi-fi, cable TV, sewage and of course water. The site did have a nice shade tree along with a fire pit and picnic table. This is a good example of what all KOA's should look like. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

If you need a park close to the Dallas stadium this is it! It’s a great place to be when the big game hits the stadium! We had an awesome BBQ before the last game here and it was perfect, nothing was too cramped and everything was always clean. The staff was great and so kind. The wifi wasn’t the best but camping I not about wifi to me. There is an awesome dog park that is nearby that has so many friendly animals and people. If you are in the area I would highly recommend this place as it’s not just for staying for the footballs games, it’s a great place to camp. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
