My husband & I just got home from our weekend at Dancing Fire and we had the best weekend! The campground was quiet, everyone around was kind & respectful. The girl at the front desk was so great with my many visits 😂 We will definitely be back, with our daughter, next summer!

Clean, Friendly, and Well-Run—With Room to Grow This campground is very clean and well maintained, and the staff is absolutely wonderful—always smiling and incredibly friendly, which made the stay feel welcoming from the start. The location is convenient, and the property is efficiently managed. While it’s branded as a “Resort,” the current amenities are more in line with what you’d expect from a standard campground. The layout, particularly toward the back, feels more open and developed than natural, with limited shade and few trees. There’s a playground and a pool, but beyond that, activities for kids—especially tweens through young adults—are quite limited. If you're traveling with older children or teens, you may find fewer options to keep them engaged on-site. That said, there are signs of ongoing improvements, and I’m hopeful that more resort-style features with younger campers in mind will be added in the future. The cabins look fantastic from the outside—modern and inviting—though I didn’t get a chance to see inside. Overall, a solid place to stay if you’re looking for a clean, nicely located, well-run campground with exceptional staff. With continued development, I look forward to growing into the resort experience it aspires to be.
