This is a very nice campground, clean showers and bathrooms. The campground host were helpful and super nice. We were in site 9A and we loved having the cement pad for for the camper and under the awning.

Nice clean and quiet. Some sites have stairs down to picnic table, tent pad and fire pit. Makes it nice and private but might be more challenging for those with mobility issues

SJR Adventures

We pulled in here on Friday June 13th looking for a camping spot. We didn't have reservations. We were immediately met by a young girl insinuating we were there to fill water totes. She then proceeded to tell us spots were $92 a night. I ask about other spots but she acted like she really just didn't want us there. We advised her we had the America the beautiful pass but she said it wouldn't work there and even if it did we wouldn't save but $8. We've stayed in dozens of parks but unfortunately won't go back to this one.

Grove Campground was an amazing campground. I used the restroom & shower facility every day for a week & they were very clean. Campground itself was very clean. The host were very friendly & helpful. This campground is in the middle of alot of things to see & to do in nature, or on a lake & a river. I really enjoyed my stay.

Such a wonderful campground that I highly recommend for anyone! I have been here going on 14 days and it’s been a great experience. I am a solo 64+ yr old disabled woman with my companion Bishion and we stay in nothing but Federal Parks. Have been doing this for years. I love the Grove Campground, they have nice hot showers with great pressure, very clean restrooms and showers, nice hiking trails and I could go on. The hosts are amazing and very friendly and come by your camp site to make sure everything is ok and see if there’s anything you need. I highly recommend Grove Campground especially from one who spends her time in Federal Parks.

Stayed in site 6B one of the better sites here! This is an excellent campground, bathrooms and showers were very clean. The campsites mostly had two levels connected with stairs.

It was a very nice campground. Hot showers. The staff was very friendly. Easy to get in there from I-75. Just a great place to be.

We got so lucky!! Traveling home forom SC, We needed to stop for the night. WHAT A FIND!! So sad it's a sleep and go. Our site is huge and gorgeous. We are so stoked to come back next year to stay and explore this beautiful part of KY. Kelly (host) is amazing, helpful and so sweet. This place is a gem!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was very friendly and helpful. Nicely laid out sites with a little space between them. See the photos for the typical layout. For most, you back in on driveway right next to power and water connections. There's a flat tent pad area just behind the driveway and then there's steps down to the fire ring and picnic table. The restroom closest to our site didn't have showers but one that did wasn't too far away.

Great host's and beautiful hikes in the area. Will be back for sure! Site 8B is the best! Hike down on both sides of road have massive caves.

This campground is just about perfect. The sites are large, spaced apart, and screened with wooded areas. There is one loop dedicated to reservations, the rest of the campground is available on a first come first served basis. There are campground hosts who can help with late check-in and sell firewood. My site, like many in the campground, had multiple levels. This accommodates the undulating terrain. The stairs connecting the levels are in good repair and have metal non-slip strips on the edges.
