The camp sites are nice and shady, and this was good since it was in the mid 90's. Water pressure was good and they had 20, 30, and 50 AMP shore power. We rented space 12 and there was easy access to the river and had a pier to dock a boat and the pier ran about 12 - 15 feet from the bank which made sufficient room to fish. I even had room to fly fish because the brush was close to the bank and didn't interfere with 30 -35 ft casts. Caught 15 - 20 small breem, too small to keep but still fun to catch. I did this each of th two days we were there. On our first evening we walked down one of the 4 piers available, and as we stepped on the pier, an alligator about 6ft long emerged from under the pier and swam out to about 100 yards from the pier and hung around until we left the pier and then submerged under the water and we didn't see him again. The bad is that none of the sites had sewer hookups so we had to use caution on our use of our toilet and shower which meant use their bath house and bathrooms. The showers, as my wife described it, it felt like being in a prison bath house. While the showers had plenty of pressure, they used nozzles that looked like the end of a garden hose sprayer that you have to adjust to your preferred spray. pattern. There was no way to adjust the water temp because they defaulted to semi-hot. The worst part of bath house was that it had no cooling system, so the temp outside was cooler than bathhouse temp which means you have take a semi-hot shower in a humid and hot bathhouse, which means after your shower you are sweating Now the worst part, but only if you don't plan on venturing out to do anything other than sit in your RV all day, or have a fishing boat to occupy your time. After consulting my Browser's AI and asked it what is there to do within a 15 mile radius of Alberta AL I learned that there is NOTHING to do and after increasing my radius to 50 miles, there was STILL nothing to do. Summed up, don't go here unless the only things you want to do is fish, and sit in your RV. Highly recommend sticking to early spring or mid fall.

It is definitely off grid and a great get away from the grind of modern life, dirt roads, no stores to buy anything, pack it in , what your needing, great fishing if you know how to fish a river in the south, not a damned up river like lay lake. Good times

It's nice and quiet. There washer and dryer are working here. You have to drive a few miles on a dirt road. Then it turns back into pavement. So when you get on the dirt road, do not think you're lost, like I did.😅🤣

Great hidden gem! Level concrete pads lots of space between campsite. Very friendly staff. Kim is a great host. This is the first COE that we stayed in that has a working washer and dryer. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nice campground. Sites are in great shape. Aside from a couple that are not concrete but they ain’t too bad. Most all sites have plenty of shade and water front access
