This is a beautiful campground. I think some sites needed leveling for RVs bit we lucked out with none. we were at site 15B, right on water. Bathrooms/showers were clean. Everyone there was so friendly! we would definitely go back.

Many of the tent sites that are near the water on Loop E are on an incline and there really aren't any level spots for pitching a tent. And the parking spots are steeply inclined. I had a spot [E14] & changed to Loop B [B12], which is actually an RV site, but the level was much better. The only down side of this site was it is right next to the very busy road and for some reason, there have been numerous trees cut down between the sites and the road, making the headlights easy to reach the sites. The restrooms at this campground definitely aren't kept nearly as clean as the ones at the Caddo Drive Recreation Area, which is also an Army Corps of Engineers Recreation Area. I guess it is all about how well the camp hosts do their jobs. Host Carol was much older than the host at Caddo, so... Nice lake view; I'm sure it'd be wonderful to put a kayak in the water and the swim areas look nice and probably feel fantastic in the summer. I'm not sure I would come back here though. I paid for 4 nights; we may only stay 3 due to severe rain coming in the morning we are to leave.

Very nice campground during the non peak season , some sites are not as level as others as mentioned by others but for our van we can make almost anywhere work . We had a large lakefront site e13 , power only . Bath house was a short hike away , clean facilities , water is available in certain areas and there is a decent dump station . Easy access to the lake . Great sunsets if you venture out into the water , Ospreys and an eagle were spotted as well as many other migrating birds ..

Great campground on the shores of Piney Bay. The bathhouse was clean and the grounds were well kept. A little out of the way, but if that is what you are after it is fantastic.

Very nice campground. On Lake Dardanelle. Multiple camp sites some w 50 amp power and water hookups, more w 30 amp hookups and water. Also tent sites. Boat ramps and docks. You can fish from the docks. Nice Bathhouse. Lots of trees. We brot our electric bikes to ride on the paved roads. Pets ok on a leash. We will come again. It's only 50 miles from home! Great for a getaway!
