Beautiful well maintenanced campground. Very safe police constantly drive-thru day and night. I would give it a five stars but the customer service up front is inconsistent. Book online.

This place is incredibly fun! If you are looking for a perfect Adventure come to Davis Camp Park! You can barbecue and/ or bring your own food. Also their activities such as swimming, riding on boats and jet skis (expensive but fun) also they have different sections that are safe for kids as well.. Bring your family and your friends and if you get a hotel nearby there you can even see the view of the water and it's perfect.

We go here for a starvation every summer, and its always a blast. We absolutely love the river side. The people are usually nice around here. The staff and the visitors. They have beach like areas and some rocky areas, so wearing swimming shoes is definitely recommended for this spot. Bring lots of sunblock and water. They do sell ice at the hut when you pay to come in but it goes fast, so plan on bringing ice. The dam opens up at all different times depending on different reasons. So it could open at 11 am or 3 pm like it did on us today. So just be weary of that change too when setting up your shades and areas.

I really enjoyed the time here. Brought the family out to enjoy the day and enjoy some swimming. However, the only down fall was that we were charged $30.00 for a day use of the river. We didn't camp we only went for the day and for a few hours and was charged $30. Other than the over charged the place was great.

We went camping recently on Juneteenth weekend and it was full as my party arrived on a Friday. The rate for this holiday weekend is $40/person from Friday sunrise to Sunday Sunset. You can come in and out. My dog was not charged $10/day. I arrived 12 noon and the place was all filled up. I prayed and ask God for favor - that I may find a place for our big group. God is good and answered my request. I saw a couple and asked them about the area cause it was by the end lots of parking. They had the armada. They were nice enough to say that they were leaving that afternoon. So I was able to save a good area for our group and it was close to the bathrooms. The reason I gave a 4star is because I am not a HEAT beach person and it was 110degrees! Me and my dog waited in the car for 4 hours for the rest of the group to arrive. And it was NO FUN for us. But as my friends started to arrive, we enjoyed the river where it was cool. We rented a jet ski and they are not cheap for 1/2 day we paid $465!!! We are all from Las Vegas so it's easy access about 1.5 hours drive.
