Even though the resort was well maintained. It would flood every rain storm leaving you to shift through a foot of water and the staff were little to no help and mostly rude the entire time my family was staying there. Honestly it seemed they really only care for their snow bird crowd.

We arrived one evening after a long drive and there was a sign saying that nothing was available. So we went to sleep at Walmart as it was very late and we were tired from our journey. The next day we called to see if there was a space available, as we'd seen several vacant spots. We were told that maybe there was, maybe there wasn't, that we'd have to check depending on how many days we wanted to stay. Finally, after several minutes of waiting, they let us know that there was a place for us, so we took two (2) days. The next day we go to the front to get some change to wash our clothes. We were told that no change was available, so all you had to do was go to Walmart in an arrogant tone of voice. The following evening we were expelled from the pool because it had to be closed at 2000hrs (unheard of in a campsite or hotel). We head to a nice spot proposed on the site for bbq but there's no propane and nothing is functional. Really disappointed with this site, even though we've slept in many a SUN. You should change the slogan on the sign “FUN AT SUN” because it's clearly not the case. Too bad about that big banner.

Me and my family were looking for a nice RV park to stay at during our trip to Daytona. At first Sun Retreats seemed like the perfect place but it all started to go down hill when we arrived on site. The day before we booked our lot online. While booking we saw no stipulations about the age requirement of the RV. We have a 2012 motorhome In beautiful condition but when we went to check in they inspected the age our RV and found it not be newer than 2015 and we were declined service and had to find somewhere else to stay. It is ridiculous that being only 3 years too old even though it has all the safety features as a modern RV was declined.
