Very hilly. Like others say, nice heated bathrooms and heated cabin. Wish they would update the doors. You pull a string to lift the inside leaver and there is a key to lock the cabin. Didn't use a pump out so I am not sure about that. Very friendly and helpful staff

We stay every ☀️ summer. Can't say enough about how accommodating they are! Friendly helpful staff! Quite clean. Hot showers!! I think this is my favorite KOA. Has many hidden gems beyond the view's. It's the great management really makes this place 10 out of 10 🙌

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week during the Sturgis bike rally in our camper and we really enjoyed ourselves. Everyone was so friendly and the amenities were clean and easy to access. Definitely will be back.

First of all this KOA is very tight in room . We were on 2nd level and people coming in were inches away from our trailer trying to get in their spot. The KOA is built on side of mountain and has little room to spare . Our spot #39 but we were given #38 was very wet and muddy from rain from mountain run off. Also the stone were RV was parked on was very finely crushed stone which tracked into RV very easily. Hosts were very friendly but honesty we will not return . I think there are better value campgrounds near Deadwood that would be better choices .

This is a great KOA site! Gary and his wife are such great hosts! We loved the free open air and the free roaming wildlife. The donkeys came to visit and we saw deer and lots of lil sneaky chipmunks. The pool was great! The laundry room had a change machine. Just a perfect stop. This was our second and I’m betting a third and more in the future!!

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!

Stayed here for 1 night. Nice campground. Having a trolley stop was really nice. Was nice not to worry about driving and finding parking. Would stay again, probably longer than 1 night next time.

Great people (they are new owners). The bathrooms were clean and a lot of repairs and upgrades behind the scenes going on. They are friendly, nice, and fair. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend staying here. *FYI there are no fire pits/rings here. No wood fires allowed here. Charcoal grills are provided and propane grills are allowed. They do have a gas fire pit that can be used in the common area.

Stayed here 7/3 - 7/6/21. Under NEW MANAGEMENT as of 7/2/21. Nice owners learning the ropes. Very accommodating. Nice quiet KOA. Stayed in spot 20. Spots 34-37 are super nice with a great view. Pull through spots 38-39 have nice deluxe concrete patios. Bathrooms are nice and clean as well. Super close to Deadwood, Broken Boot Mining Tour and super cute town of Lead. Gave 4/5 stars because spots are pretty small with no real patio area for camping chairs or outdoor hanging out spot. Overall though, nice little KOA.
