Wow! What a great overnight stay. It was our first time at Deer Haven but we will be back. With a beautiful view of the North Platte River and the setting sun it was a really relaxing finish for our travel day. The park was very relaxing and quiet. Thank you very much for the hospitality.

Very nice and helpful office experience. We were last minute arrival with no reservation. We were taken care of immediately and with a smile. Nice little Park. Well run. We were in a full hookup space number 14 for one night. Park was convenient walking distance to town and restaurants. Wi-Fi was good enough for text and email but probably not for streaming. Roadways and RV spaces are gravel. Nice trees and shade.. entrance Well marked and maneuvering in the park was easy..

The campground is conveniently located 20 miles south of I-80 outside Saratoga, a delightful small town with hot springs. The North Platte River borders the campground and several sites are on the river. It was very peaceful and quiet at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would avoid site 40, which was very close to a staff member’s residence.

This was our first time to Deer Haven RV in Saratoga, WY. It’s a quiet little campground in a great location. It’s well kept, and friendly. Town is within walking distance to do some shopping. A short drive up the hill is the grocery store. Town has some nice restaurants like The Wolf Hotel and The Grumpy Italian. The best part of our stay was how Pam, the owner of Deer Haven took care and interest in us. She knew we were there too ride OHV trails and she went out of her way to get us paper maps from the Forest Service. She told us about some of the destinations we could ride to, and it was wonderful! We had already done our research on where we wanted to go. But, with her input, we prioritized the locations that she told us about first. Which was incredibly helpful, because after the second day of riding, we had issues with our vehicle, and we could not ride the trails any longer. We’re so grateful that we spoke with her and got those two amazing days in before we couldn’t ride any longer. Pam also is a talented artist herself. If you end up going to her RV resort, ring her doorbell at the office and asked to see some of the jewelry that she makes. I bought something, and so did one of my friends. She’s very talented. And very caring. There are weeks worth of trails that we could not see. We will definitely go back and stay with her again. Thank you, Pam.

We really enjoyed our stay at Deer Haven. Our tree-covered site was right on the River. With close proximity to the hot springs and downtown Saratoga, we additionally visited some other places during our stay. While relaxing at our site, we watched deer along the banks of the River and an osprey actively fishing. Would definitely recommend!
